Syrus (The Dragon/ Draco)

Syrus is Arthur's dragon! They're a snarky, violent and somewhat bratty dragon toddler who nonetheless would do anything for their human. (Their name is Syrus but I often refer to them as Draco as I have another OC called Syrus and don't want to confuse them lmao)

Hatched from the egg of the Black Dragon Box, said "Fuck destiny" and saved the world anyway. They wear a permanent shit-eating grin and enjoy biting and digging their claws into things. They also like pranks, knocking stuff off tables and generally acting like a huge fire-breathing cat. Their element of choice is electricity and they will shock people who get too close or touch them without asking.

They might be intelligent and very skilled in combat, but they're still a baby and therefore discussing heavy stuff with them can be difficult, so often Art doesn't usually bother trying. It's his responsibility to look after Syrus anyway, not the other way around.

They're unusually long and spindly for such a young dragon and they like to take advantage of their length to curl around Arthur's shoulders. They also had a bad habit of clawing their way up his back until they accidentally managed to slice open the side of his neck (fun fact- that's where his scar is from).

When they grow up they'll probably be very long and snake-like with wide wings and 2 sets of horns. Even as a baby they have long lightning-bolt shaped horns.
