Denise is an ice-cold financial manager who does her job efficiently and scarily. She has no sense of humor and her glares can freeze any one of the bank workers on the spot. This, along with her position as manager and close ties to the head of the bank has earned her the nickname "Ice Queen" in the office. She has a near-perfect memory which is both a blessing and curse.
In the past, Denise was far less harsh. A dreamer who was serious about adventuring, Denise once left life in the city behind to go questing. Her final adventure went very wrong and she nearly died. She was never the same after that.

Denise survived a near-death experience due to the aid of this traveling merchant and has felt indebted to him ever since. She currently works at his bank as his right-hand viscet.
Denise met him at the tech company where she used to work. He left the company to adventure with her as a bard and companion. He disappeared during their last adventure, and while he swears it wasn't his fault, Denise will not forgive him for leaving when she needed him most.
