Past: Gecko was hatched from an egg Spoons found in the wild. He was always remarkably attentive, well-behaved and quick-learning, if oddly quiet. He would often grow tired of adventures and become easily homesick when brought away from home, preferring safe and familiar grounds. Present: He is dad. He's your dad, he's your dog's dad, he's even my dad. He guides, tutors, and essentially raises new young monsters Spoons acquires, until they grow independent enough to take care of themselves without a guardian. This is usually a full-time job, and he is rarely without an apprentice. He spends most his time at home but occasionally ventures out with others on quests, though he himself rarely takes part in dangerous feats. Personality: He is calm, patient and supportive. He is rarely annoyed, and when he isn't busied by taking care of his countless adopted children he likes to spend his spare time relaxing or watching wild animals. Despite his caring nature, he is hardly controlling of others and doesn't worry when his friends or apprentices depart on dangerous quests. Likewise he minds his own business and doesn't get involved in others' disputes. Relationships: Due to being The Nice Dad, most of Spoons' monsters share a mutual respect for him, even if they don't spend much time with him. Cheesecake is his first and main apprentice. |
