Jett Moonsett

Jett Moonsett is a pony who others can always look to for good advice and a witty joke.

Born in Hopscotch, she and her family moved around to every city, town, and two building village in Farrier. They were given the name Buttercup Breeze, which she went by for the majority of her youth, but when she left Hopscotch, she renamed herself Jett Moonsett. Jett enjoyed traveling, spending most of her time snapping pictures of flowers and talking to interesting folks.
The biggest move was from Bellshine to a little town called Claybreak. 

Jett felt strange being the only mule in the town, in the big cities there were all kinds of creatures and species, however in the Bay, her ears stood out horribly in the crowds of ponies. Her mother, being a donkey, did not seem to notice Jett’s plight at all and always seemed confused on why her once very open and sociable daughter clammed up.
Still, Jett was out of luck, the family permanently moved to Claybreak, her mother having remarried to a pony named Foghorn. 

One plus of living in Claybreak is that it was wild and there were uncharted places for Jett to explore, even in town. The only pony who was half as interested in exploring and learning was an earth pony called Jitter Fritter. She was awkward and didn’t have many friends either. Once the two of them spent some time together, however, they became inseparable.

As she finished school, living at home only became harder and harder. Jett longed to travel again and solve one mystery she never could in that town, where her father was. She knew Fritter would miss her, but she promised to write as often as she could and that things wouldn’t change.
However, once she got to her new destination, Allswell City, her new job and responsibilities kept her busy and she had less and less time for letter writing. She took up a job as a traveling photographer, selling her work to publishers. 

Jett would almost completely lose contact with everyone back in Claybreak as she began to snoop out the story of a life time; what happened to Fruit Cup, the princess who vanished.
