Dahlia

The other central character with Avery. Dahlia is mostly positive, bubbly and energetic but also very naive. She's eager to learn new things and wants to try out different things.

She is forced to run away from home and to seek protection from a nomadic rebel group. Being part of the group is exciting for her since she's been secretly wishing to belong in one someday. But after a while the group gets attacked by officials and everyone gets killed exept Dahlia and Avery. Devastated and forever traumatized they go to the closest city and Avery decides they should go their separate ways, but they end up sticking together and creating a new group of their own from the ground up. Avery has to also train Dahlia to fight and do other things that are useful when living the rebel lifestyle.

Dahlia prefers taking orders instead of giving them and eager to please, does everything that is asked from her as best as she can. But she is also very resourceful if she has to figure out something by herself and most of the time her ideas work out just fine.

She has a pet bird called Flower, who is always with her.
