Roy

Roy is a blacksmith and a general craftsman type of person who has their own government certified store where their stuff is sold. They also have a selection of "forbidden items" (weapons) they have designed themselves and sells them only for rebels. They have never been caught and if they are, they would be locked up for life.

When they were younger they were also part of a rebel group. At this time Roy's father was a high-ranking officer/general sort of person who did anti-rebel work for the government. Roy's older sisters (other being Neena) got into good schools and jobs partially through their father's relations. Roy in the other hand wasn't a fan of schools or the government and was very interested in the rebellion. They were a pretty difficult child and had lots of fights with their parents. Naturally they (especially their father) didn't like their interest of the rebellion. Then one night when one rebel group was passing through their city they made up some sob story for the group and managed to join the rebels. They didn't leave a note or anything for their parents but they guessed what happened and got their confirmation once they asked around.

Long story short, their dad got into trouble at work, their parent's were fighting and their mom moved to the other continent to live with Roy's other sister. Years later Roy came back home and made peace with their parents (they had divorced though) and their dad took an early retirement from his work for many reasons, one being that he also noticed that maybe the government wasn't so cool after all. Roy was apprehended for a while and got under supervision of the government. Everything was settled if they started doing government approved work and if they agreed on inspections. They started up their current business since they learned and liked working with metal while in the rebel group. They weren't this easy on ex-rebels usually, but Roy's dad helped with that. They still hated the government and as a middle finger they started selling their wares to the rebels. Their father knows this and is afraid of that they're getting caught. They have decided together that if they ever do get caught, their dad can pretend to know nothing about it. Their dad takes care of the shop sometimes when Roy can't. For example when Dahlia and Avery recruit them to join a rebel group once more.
