Profile
Positive
>> Helpful > Mint loves to help others out, no matter who it is and no matter what it may be. Something difficult? Mint will help the best she can!
>> Friendly > She is nice to everyone, showing generosity and radiating kindness. She sees the good in everyone, even if they seem bad or are rumored to be bad. She has the easygoing, welcoming attitude to everyone she meets.
>> Intelligent > She’s smart, always one to love to learn. Her memory capacity is strong, making her use what she learned as a skill. She doesn’t flaunt it though, but this is one of her strong points.
Neutral
>> Quiet > She isn’t an extroverted, boisterous cat, she’s rather quiet and reserved unless her kindness is needed somewhere. She’s quiet in tense situations, always having the soft, hushed voice.
>> Mediator > Mint hates choosing sides, feeling like she betrays the other, so she sticks in the middle (neutral; a go-between). She’ll try and solve conflict by herself, wanting to help both sides come to some sort of agreement.
>> Circumspect > She doesn’t like taking risks, preferring the side of safety than danger. She may be considered a ‘killjoy’, though when it comes to her family, she’ll be wary but will follow them to make sure they’ll be alright.
Negative
>> Unconfident > She’s not confident in her own abilities and constantly doubts herself. She leaves everything up to others because she’s more confident in their abilities than her own.
>> Naive > She falls for things easily. Due to seeing good in everyone, she lacks the wisdom and the thought of cats actually being bad.
>> Fanciful > She is stuck in her head a majority of the time, being a very imaginative cat and all (maybe overly so). Most of her thoughts and ideas are unrealistic, yet she believes they can work/are possible.

History
Kithood [0-6 moons] >
Mintkit was one of five kits born to Irisdawn and Snakeheart. Her sisters were Fernkit, Yewkit, and Hollykit, while her single brother was Berrykit. She was one of the youngest kits- the only one younger than her being Hollykit. She doesn’t know her father but is keen to find out and make him proud, as well as her mother!
At some point, later in her kithood, it was announced that her mother became mates with Snowwhisker. Though she was desperately needing a father in her life, it was still a bit weird that their somewhat small family became much larger, it made her extremely nervous. She didn’t want to muck anything up and make them hate her.
Apprenticehood [6-12 moons] >
Mintkit was made an apprentice, earning the name Mintpaw, along with all of her siblings: Berrypaw, Fernpaw, Hollypaw, and Yewpaw. She was given Lotusbreeze as her mentor, much to her excitement. The deputy as her mentor?! Heck yeah!
It wasn’t long after that her step-siblings- Shadowkit, Stonekit, and Smokekit -became apprentices as well, causing the den to become more crowded
Then came Riverpaw’s sudden death from greencough. She knew how close Hollypaw was to the other cat so she quickly zeroed in on her sister to comfort her and help her through the difficult time. She would never leave her sister in a bad time like that! She hasn’t experienced death like that (where it was someone close to her), so she had no idea what the feeling was like. But she was still there to help a family member in need!
Mothpaw, her denmate and fellow apprentice, had decided that they were going to become a kittypet, after dealing with their sister’s death. Despite not being close to the cat, like... at all, she supported their decision and wished them luck on their kittypet life!
Newtspring, Hollypaw’s mentor, was expecting Thrushbriar’s kits so her sister got a new mentor, Sleetpuddle. She had made sure her sister was fine with it, just to be sure, but overall thought it was cool to see her get another mentor.
Warriorhood [12 - 50 moons] >
Mintpaw got her warrior name, Mintbreeze, both for her breezy, mediative personality and her agility. Her siblings got theirs as well, which were Ferntail, Berryshine, and Hollyblossom, respectively. Yewpaw was obviously still training as a medicine cat, so Mintbreeze would almost constantly pop in to say hi to her brother- usually getting pushed out by Hurricanewatcher as she did it that much. She was excited to know what her brother’s full medicine cat name would be!
Around this time the greencough outbreak that was happening seemed to get worse. She feared for her family, afraid they would get it. One of which having been Snowwhisker. She grieved for him, but mostly was set on comforting her mother and any littermates that were hurt by it. Yewberry earned his full name and Hurricanewatcher retired a couple moons afterwards.
Someone tried to kill Reedstar with deathberry-laced prey, but was saved by Wild and Dropletshine. In turn, they kept Wild as a prisoner, which Mintbreeze found odd. Didn’t she just save the leader? They did find out there are spies among the clans that are trying to pick them off one by one. That worried her.
Berryshine, her brother, died after accidentally eating a toxic plant. It seemed unreal almost, yet she grieved and she comforted her family during that hard time.
HailClan cats came to take refuge after their clan seemed to have disbanded for reasons unknown to her. She wondered why Reedstar allowed it since there were those spies running about.
A couple moons later, during the gathering- of which she didn’t attend -there was a solar eclipse that she saw from EmberClan’s camp. Little did she know, a Dark Forest cat appeared, declaring herself as Blizzardfang. Things got worse when the hope bridge was destroyed. She only got to see the damages later on.
Snakeheart was discovered as one of the spies and Tigerfrost killed him. It shocked Mintbreeze, the tom seemed so loyal to EmberClan. Who knew he would’ve turned on them? Not long afterwards, Sleetpuddle was found injured in the den. He claimed to have killed Blizzardfang, and outed himself as the other spy of EmberClan. A new hope bridge was built, which she assumed was a sign for the HailClanner’s to finally return to their home.
It seems the disasters weren’t over because the Crystal Falls were attacked by the Dark Forest cats, the former spies that followed Blizzardfang. They attacked the medicine cats, killing one in the process and killing the MarshClan deputy too.
She wishes this never happened. It was supposed to be a small patrol, but they came across something horrifying. Coyotes. They were attacking Stonewhisper and Irisdawn, her step-brother and mother, who were protecting a prone Goosepaw, who was already gone. It was herself, Shadowfeather, and Hollyblossom, they all came to help. They chased off the coyotes the best they could, but they weren’t fast enough. Stonewhisper died of his wounds, Irisdawn soon after, but not without parting words. Mintbreeze didn’t know how to react, unable to accept the fact that her mother was gone. She couldn’t just leave her! Mintbreeze still needed her mom! It was hard to get Mintbreeze to let go to bring her body back for a vigil. Despite the moments ‘weakness’, she was quick to be the shoulder her family cried on and the comfort they needed during this time. Her own turmoil could wait. She had an apprentice, Hickorypaw, to train after all, she couldn’t let the poor cat down! She’d grieve after she became a warrior. Spoiler alert: she never got to.
Sometime after… the incident… Hollyblossom approached her. She had news to share. Confused, Mintbreeze pushed any and all distractions aside to hear what her sister had to say. The words didn’t seem to make sense. “Snakeheart was their father”. Her mind buffered on that information. Snakeheart? The cat who betrayed EmberClan? That Snakeheart? She tried to deny it at first, not out of anger or actual denial but out of pure confusion because that couldn’t possibly be right! Irisdawn told them their father died before they could meet him. But Snakeheart was a bad cat, perhaps she didn’t want them to know about him…? Berryshine flashed in her mind. It suddenly made sense. In the end, she quietly just accepted it. There was no reason for Hollyblossom, or Shadowfeather in turn, to lie to her. She could always unpack it later alongside the grief of her mother’s sudden and violent death… whenever ‘later’ would be, anyways.
There were rumors of cats having strange dreams and having them come true- visions, Mintbreeze supposes. One of which was of a large fish being found in the depths of the waters. It was preying on some cats. Mintbreeze tried to avoid the deep parts the best she could. Around this time she got another apprentice, after Hickoryroot became a warrior and soon… died, named Cranepaw. She didn’t get much of a break, but hey, it must mean she’s a good mentor, right?
Her former mentor, Lotusbreeze, stepped down as deputy, Piketongue taking his place. Unfortunately, not long after, he was found severely injured but died before he could tell anyone what had happened. Another mystery to add onto the growing list.
One morning she heard her sister, Hollyblossom, yelling in camp that the water was rising. In a panic, she quickly helped the older cats get out of camp quickly, while also trying not to fall into the rushing water herself. It seems they were taking refuge in the old twoleg den, so she helped lead any stragglers there.
She came to find out that Reedstar perished in the flooding, which meant Pinetongue would become leader. But not only him, but Yewberry also lost his life in the floods. Another one of her family… gone…?
The camp is rebuilt and they move back in. It’s then she learns that both Ferntail and Hollyblossom are expecting kits. Despite her earlier grief, she is excited for her future nieces and nephews.
The quest cats are sent out on their journey, everyone bedding them luck. But unfortunately, an earthquake occurred causing much destruction and death. Mintbreeze helped as many as she could until the shaking passed. They had to rebuild for a while afterwards.
Mintbreeze joined a patrol, a normal one, that ended in chaos. They were attacked by a swarm of bees. She desperately tried to help out the others, but she could only do so much. It led to Addersong’s death and the rest sent to the herbalist den. In the meantime, Ferntail and Hollyblossom’s kits were born. Ferntail’s were named Oysterkit, Rosemarykit, and Orchidkit, while Hollyblossom’s were named Galekit, Mistkit, and Dewkit. Mintbreeze loved them all, she tried to be a good aunt for them.
Cranepaw passed their assessment and was able to rank up, now being named Cranewatcher. Mintbreeze was very proud and happy for the young cat. Sometime later, Mistkit ended up passing away. She tried to comfort Hollyblossom the best she could, but she didn’t know much about kit loss. Still, she was there for her sister.
Soon, the cats return from their quest, coming back injured. They were immediately sent to the herb den. She wondered what they had gotten into during the moons they were gone.
Queenhood [50 - 56 moons] >
Mintbreeze never viewed herself as a parental figure, nor could she picture herself as one. But after her friend, Singepetal, had passed away after birthing her three kits, she took it upon herself to raise them. She named the three: Singekit, Flarekit, and Sludgekit. Despite them not being blood, she loved them dearly.
She wasn’t sure what all went down, but she overheard there being a final fight at the Crystal Falls where everything was able to be fixed with StarClan, leaving everyone able to communicate with them again. Around this time, Thrushbriar stepped down as deputy, leaving Gullwatcher to take his place.
Galepaw ends up going missing out of nowhere. She’s quick to find her sister and make sure she’s alright. Later on, a badger attacked camp and Dewpaw had acted valiantly and fought it. He had died, but he must’ve been the one with the leader’s misplaced life because he was revived like nothing. For this, Dewpaw was made a warrior early and named Dewmist. She was proud of her nephew.
One day, unbeknownst to her, Singekit escaped camp. She was panicking trying to figure out where he went and others went to search for him out in the territory. Thankfully, Thrasherbelly found him. Unfortunately, they had to protect Singekit from a fox and lost a leg in the process. She owes everything to the warrior, she is so thankful for their brave actions that day.
Warriorhood [56 - 75 moons] >
Her kits become apprentices. Even though she’s very worried, she’s excited to see them grow and become great warriors. Her excitement is curbed quickly though when she hears that Hollyblossom fell through the ice alongside others, being one of the two cats never to make it out alive. She was very crushed, her heart feeling like it’s seconds from shattering.
Singepaw had been chosen as the next herbalist, which made her happy despite the grief. She knows Singepaw will be fine. Unfortunately, again, the happiness doesn’t last. Flarepaw and Sludgepaw are caught in a rock fall, leaving Sludgepaw dead and Flarepaw injured. She grieved hard for her kit, now knowing what Hollyblossom was going through. Too bad she had no one to comfort her during this time, outside of her own kits, but both were busy being a herbalist and injured.
Deer are found within the territory out of nowhere, one even going and trashing a gathering. During that time, the camps are attacked by cats. She, being in camp at the time, fought off anyone she could, but the herbs were destroyed in the attack. Flarepaw was injured in the attack and Briarshade was killed, leaving Singepaw the lone herbalist. Mintbreeze didn’t want to hover but she frequently visited the den to check on Flarepaw and make sure Singepaw was alright as well. She can only imagine what he’s going through.
Flarepaw becomes a full warrior named Flaredawn. She’s proud of her daughter. Then Flaredawn disappears. She panics, wondering where she went. She desperately tried to reason with herself- ‘missing’ doesn’t mean dead all the time. She just hopes her daughter is okay and will come home soon.
Singepaw becomes a full herbalist after a tough time by themself for it. She’s named Singeflicker. Not only this, but Flaredawn returned! The tension she had in her body seemed to relax at both good news’.
The empire had stolen kits during a raid on HailClan. She wasn’t around for the rescue, but she heard that they were able to bring the kits back home. Briefly afterwards, her nephew Isopodkit became Singeflicker’s apprentice. She was happy for the brief time it happened, because it wasn’t even a moon later that Isopodpaw was dropped and made a warrior apprentice. She wondered what had happened but didn’t say anything because Singeflicker was all grown up and could make his own choices. As the parent, she would always support him.
Her former apprentice, Cranewatcher, is found dead. Everyone immediately suspected the Empire. She silently grieved for her lost apprentice.
Queenhood [75 - present moons] >
Mintbreeze got the courage to have another litter of kits, this time being her own kits. She was nervous but eager for this next step. Ferntail would never get to see them though, he was found dead, likely killed by the empire. Her heart hurt for her sister. She hoped Ferntail was seeing her kits up in StarClan now, at least.
One of her clanmates, Irisshadow, was expecting kits and was not quiet about it being cross-clan. It caused issues with many other clanmates of hers, but Mintbreeze herself was supportive of the she-cat. She even tried to help make her a nest in the nursery to cheer her up. But it didn’t help because the expecting queen fled during the night. Mintbreeze was upset. But she eventually gave birth to three healthy kits: Sparkkit, Ashenkit, and Gritkit. For the first time in a while, she felt happy.
On one foggy morning, the camp was attacked by the Empire. Though she wasn’t around for it. She needed a quick stretch of her legs and left the care of her three kits with one of the caretakers. How she managed to dodge the empire sneaking into the territory, she’ll never know, but she got back to camp to see it destroyed entirely. Cats hurt and the herb den destroyed. Singeflicker was hurt and Ashenkit was physically uninjured but something was still wrong. She panicked and felt guilty, checking to make sure Singeflicker was alright and tending to her now sickly kit. Asthma, she was told. Ashenkit had asthma. She prayed that this wouldn’t turn into anything bad in the future. She also learned that Pikestar lost a life during the fight to a deer. She ended up stepping down and Gullwatcher took her place, soon appointing Snapstream as her deputy.
After a bit of construction, the new herbalist den is made.
A few moons later, she learns a handful of young cats and a warrior are whisked away on an ice chunk. At first, she was worried for them, but she downright panicked when she learned Gritkit was one of them. She frantically searched for him along the coast but was made to head back to the nursery, knowing she has her two other kits to care for. Ashenkit was rightfully asking where Gritkit was and when he’d be back from his ‘adventure’. But Sparkkit was making none-too-nice comments about it all, so much that Fennelspots had approached her about it. Despite that she was still panicked and upset about Gritkit, she appreciated that the other queen would talk to her about it. She expressed how she didn’t entirely know how to handle it, as her first litter had been well behaved in those regards. Hopefully it would solve itself. Surely it was just Sparkkit not developing a filter yet.
