Melody

Melody is a water-using knight based in Oaklore who, despite being a fantastic fighter, often gets saddled with unpleasant jobs like washing the stables. Unfortunately her affinity for the element of water means she can't get past the hydra's bridge and into Falconreach. Oops.

I made them a vessel of Kathool oops

They're not mean or anything. They do their best to be nice but just. Sometimes her brain goes on vacation from her body and Kathool takes the wheel and when it comes back she's committed an attrocity and people are scared. Yeah.

Guess Kathool must've done a number on her psyche because she's been off ever since their encounter. Maybe she'd have been fine if she hadn't already been mentally fighting the effects of that cursed sword she picked up.

Her poor dragon's not entirely sure what to make of her steady degredation of character, and has been put in the slightly uncomfortable position of trying to be the moral compass for both of them while still not being fully old enough to understand the world they're interacting with.

They'll definitely end up becoming a fleshweaver. Sorry Aegis :/

She's not all doom and gloom though. When they're feeling themself they're incredibly dedicated and sincere (to a point where it can be a  little off-putting if you're not expecting it), and they might even come off quite serious if it weren't for the puns, which they make constantly. She's pretty sharp-witted and is a very creative fighter which can be difficult for her opponents to keep up with in battles. They're very strong-willed too, although not the best communicator, which can make working with others difficult. Really she's better suited to working alone or in pairs than in large groups.

Her primary element is darkness, and her secondary element is water (in contrast to Nessie's water/light element)
