Irlen was born in the city, but he is constantly dreaming of a place full of nature and surrounded by trees, everyone tells him a place like this does not exist. He swears there must be nature behind the wall, although most people think is just a wasteland.

He is a student at the science university and wanted to specialize in botanics to fulfil this yearning for being closer nature.
Every day he went to the university’s garden, where there was only one tree and the only one he had ever seen in his life. One day he took with him a tales book from the library to read under the tree and he fell asleep while reading. He woke up into a big forest, where he meets Zúah, who becomes his guide.

Once there, he notices the tales book text changes from time to time and tells him what he should do next. Together with Zúah they start to travel along the path the book points. On their way they meet an ancient cursed warrior who lends him his armor in exchange of them finding a way to break the curse.

Irlen likes conspiracy theories, and has the pastime of reading about them, he used to talk a lot about these things with his university friends in a joking manner, but really believed them on the inside. Now that he has seen the other side of the world, something unknown by the city people, he started thinking even more, what more is being hidden to the common citizen?
