Elias Renard

- Always a quiet child, Elias was raised neither sternly nor freely by his parents. Everything always seemed to be at an ordinary pace within his family and it was rare for such harmony to be disrupted despite his father’s position as the head of Luminoua’s disaster division. Normalcy for Elias always desired even though his childhood friend Uriel excelled in his studies. For the most part, people seemed to see that Elias was a child who knew what he wanted, but also didn’t want enough to seek it.

- The steady pace of Elias’ life is disrupted through the loss of his father who had died in the same Disaster as Uriel’s father. Stress from losing her husband causes Elias’ mother to become sickly. Despite his young age, Elias buried his grief and began to care for his mother all throughout his school years alone.

- However, because of his lack of aspirations, Elias begins to be concerned with how he can continue to look after his mother as her health worsens by the year. Though he was never seriously interested in joining Luminoua, he decided to apply with Uriel after seeing his convictions for the company.

- At 24, Elias was the youngest person to be given the title of department head, but rather than outstanding credentials, it’s more so because no one else wanted such a precarious position.

• Elias’ magic in its simplest form is a gentle flame he is able to manipulate and shape as he pleases. Small embers form with a simple snap of the fingers to ignite a serene warmth that helps calm those close to it. Flames dance along his fingers much like a spirit companion and sometimes takes the form of a small fox.
• With his ability, Elias possesses a keen sense of hearing as well as the ability to jump rather high due to his fennec fox lineage.
