- Is also an adept support hunter (while utilizing bows) allowing for quick healing, stamina recovery, and even status buffs.
- Level-headed, always focused on the task while keeping composure in most stressful situations.
- A goofball most of the time. He takes his job seriously, of course, but likes to lighten the mood for others, especially newbie hunters.
- Has the utmost respect for nature and it's wildlife. He's big on conservation and often helps researchers on any kind of study. Being a hunter, he's a bigger help to ecological research team than to the botanists.
- Always tries to find a tactical solution to most problems. Mostly to impress the Commander or Admiral, really, but he is quick on his feet and good to consult for monster related problems.
- Tries to play it mellow but can't sit in one place. He feels the need to get back out into the field after finishing one assignment.
Before the New World-
In the Old World, Nico was born to a family of proficient hunters. Early on in his youth, however, his parents to a Ratholos during a hunt. Orphaned and bitter, Nico took up his parents' mantle.
Nico went through his parents' research, learning all he could about monsters and other endemic life.
Entering his adult years, he became part of the Research Commission as a hunter. He carved a name for himself while under the Commission but it was always under his parents' shadows. When news came of a new and unexplored land, Nico saw that as an opportunity for a new life and joined the Fifth Fleet in a heartbeat.
Arriving to the New World-
En route to the New World, Nico met the Handler. She is his confidant and the two are always off on missions together.
