  DESCRIPTION   

The Pious is a frail, weak Slugcat. He is unable to consume enough food during any given Cycle due to an injury he has sustained. Because of this, he is constantly in a starvation Cycle. However, not all hope for him is lost-- for if he prays hard enough, an Echo (The Sinner) will show up, and immediately pacify all creatures in and around the room he is in. The amount of time it takes to summon The Sinner is random, however, so The Pious must make sure he is safe while he is praying. The Sinner is also able to encounter Echoes more than once, although they do not boost his max Karma level after every visit, just refills his Karma to full.

  PERSONALITY   

The Pious is a quiet, shy Slugcat, who prefers to be alone or with one good friend. He does not trust tangible Slugcats easily due to early life events, but is absolutely fascinated by the phenomena that is Echoes. He will actively hang around areas that have Echoes, and attempt to ask them questions (which they never answer). He is also fond of Iterators, and actively seeks them out if he can.

  HISTORY   

The Pious was born to two unknown parents, who vanished shortly after he was born. He was mainly raised by his older sister, and the two grew close to one another. However, after an unfortunate event, the two Slugpups were driven apart from one another, and The Pious is not even sure if his sister is even still alive. Still, he has a goal: to seek out every remaining Echo, and communicate with them. His sister is The Florist.
