Dislikes: Rushing through things, leaving her comfort zone, her own temper, actually battling

A total bookworm. If she doesn't know something, she immediately seeks to understand. This really only applies to solid concepts - things grounded in science and fact. Things that aren't set in stone, such as the nuances of culture or things that go against the norm greatly confuse her to the point of almost willful ignorance.

She's a bit dense and is generally bad at reading people, this leads to frustrations from her friends and even herself. Normally a quiet girl, she isn't afraid to speak her mind when she sees something that's wrong. Despite her trying to appear as the calm scholarly type, she has a bit of a temper; especially when someone won't see things her way.

Outside of that, she's your typical teacher's pet, even in college. She gets excited at the prospect of research papers and if you tickle one of her areas of expertise, she won't shut up. She's especially passionate about fieldwork but is shaky when it comes to battling (a common subject of study in her field).

As luck would have it, Colette wound up with a resonator who is naturally gifted enough in battle to make up for her maestro's trepidation. That being said, Colette doesn't particularly enjoy hunting and treats it more like a job she has to begrudgingly do - a task merely to pay the bills. She will excuse herself at the first opportunity and has become quite clever with the excuses she makes to dip out early.

Even so, she does find some enjoyment in the planning aspect of resonator combat, chaining together spells, positioning, and the unique traits of the resonators in order to come out victorious. Just doing the actual act is a tall ask. 

Misc Facts

• Her nails are quite short because of her biting them.
  • She especially does this when stressed or is thinking about something hard.
  • She's been trying to stop this habit recently because some of her friends kept chastising her about it.
• She loves hot cocoa. She's not a fan of tea or coffee, but she can go on an entire dissertation about different brands of hot cocoa
  • In her own opinion spicy hot cocoa is the "correct" way to enjoy the beverage
• She's excellent at rollerblading, surprising most people with how nimble she is.
