Character

History as a Design

I've only ever had about three sonas, Sweet Storm; who's design was a more default design I used for insert characters when I first started, Dawn; formally called Kat and was a color flip of Sweet Storm, and now the current Kat. Originally, I wanted to update Dawn's design to include a stripe down her back, connecting her hair to her tail. This carried into Kat when I was first roughing out her design in the form of her blue night sky pattern flowing down her back. Her first draft had a color pallet based on one of the last drawings I did of Dawn, and a whole bunch of colors and patterns. The design was an eye sore and far too bus to ever be consistant, so it was toned down. Whereas Dawn had far more darker themes and drawings surrounding her, Kat was a break off of just the happy of that design. Kat has a grescale pallet but it is rarely seen as a rule of mine is I need to be better before I post vents, and with feeling better, color ends up fading back into the painting process. Kat doesn't look like me at all. Her colors are more in tune with colors I like to wear, but I am not pink with gold eyes. However, a carry over from Dawn is she wears a golden dogtag pendant. In real life, I have worn a dogtag given to me by Dad for nearly 8 years now nonestop. It broke last year and I had to fix it, otherwise I have not taken it off for anything. My Dad passed away 10 years ago and I wear it to remember him. My sona by extention is never without the dogtag. To fit her design it's not like mine which is silver and has my name and my Father's Air Force rank on it, instead it is gold and normally drawn as a tear drop because it made an easier motion when drawing, sort of like an infinity symbol. It's the only thing I'm strick on. Other than that Kat is overall meant to be a fun character to draw. Her colors can be a bit tricky to work with but that's the challenge. If you're making me gift or fan art and are not having fun, try another character of mine! I never want anyone to have a bad experience drawing her.

History as a side character

Kat in a story sense has not been developed very much, as overall I want her to be a representation of me. But for funzies, Kat would be a lost space princess. She was rasied by Sony (sonywings), a giant winged mountain cat on a distant planet. It was with Sony that Kat discovered she could grow wings and fly. During Halloween time, Kat wears a witches hat, and is able to perform magic.
