One of the four gods who created the world the Game takes place in. Her official title is The God of Death because of her special abilities that relate to the Afterlife. In comparison to the other three gods who were worshipped by the humans for their more positive image, Katsuki was percieved by humans as a merciliess god who comes to harvest their lives. In reality, Katsuki is the most reserved and calm out of the four. Although she does look down on those with mortal lives, she does appreciate their existence and the way they make the world full of life. Her god realm is known as the Afterlife, where those who die pass onto whatever fate they are assigned or chosen to (reincarnation, heaven, etc.). Katsuki always has a lingering feeling of bereavement and loneliness, but typically hides it under her usual calm smile. After living a long and miserable life, Katsuki decided to use the Game as a way to escape her immortal body and die. She feels guilty for risking the lives of some humans in the process, but she's willing to do anything to end it all.

God Realm

A world with a beautiful, abandoned island where spirits will first arrive at. Katsuki calls this island the Near Shore. The island is surrounded by a beautiful ocean that changes scenery depending on Katsuki's mood (sometimes it is filled with fog, sometimes it is storming, or other times it might give a beautiful view of the sunset). In the far, unreachable distance lies a lighthouse that rests on one of the old, rocky walls located near the horizon. Across from the lighthouse is a tiny, distant island in which a small cottage rests. This lighthouse and cottage are located in the Far Shore. There are many options for spirits to choose and depending on what route they take, they are taken to a different plane of existence.
