Trivia

  • They doesn't speak much, though they do know how to. They hasn't spoken to anyone in forever so they has no social skills either.
  • They go into the Origin forme when they're provoked or really angry. Attack stats are higher in origin form than altered, so they are stronger and may have no restraint when fighting in this forme.
  • They doesn't have a lot of luck; somethng is usually bound to mess up when they tries to do something, though it's never on purpose either.
  • They can make his own portal to back into the Distortion World (i think this was also part in one of the movies? I'm not sure 100%)
  • Their appearacnce is masc. so you can use male pronouns for him, even though Giratina itself is a genderless pkmn and should probably use they for Girard. Either one is okay though, even I still write he sometimes ;;
  • Giratina is my (Kirbygal) favorite legendary pkmn ^^ This gijinka is a bday present to me
  • His nature dictates that he likes spicy foods and dislikes sour ones
  • If they were in a pkmn contest, they'd win the Coolness theme
Story

Girard would have the similar backstory and theories to the actual Giratina; may have to look those up but from what I've gathered briefly, Giratina was banished to the Distortion world shortly after its creation, and remained there until a trainer captures it (in game; of course things differ in the movies). From this, my Girard would have also been banished to the Distortion world, and they remains there until a trainer named Nikita (my other oc) comes in and battles them. Nikita was a kind trainer but also had a strong team and he was able to defeat and capture Girard (Nikita renames them as Girard and the name stuck).

Girard was surprised to see a trainer enter the Distortion World; they weren't aware of any openings, though he did sense something was off while Nikita made his way to them. After battling and then being caught by Nikita, they were even more surprised they were able to join a trainer's team. They were really skeptical at first and didn't know how to react, but Nikita's expression and calm demeanor at the time was so inviting and quite refreshing to see, that Girard ended up going along with him. They felt a little nervous leaving the Distortion World and entering the real world after so long, but they were also a little bit excited.

Being in isolation for so long, Girard had little to no social skills when it came to interacting with other pokemon, so things were a bit awkward between them and others. They were really grateful for Nikita and how nice he was to let them get used to being around others. They found themself getting strongly attached to Nikita real quick that they'd do anything for him. They weren't quick to make friends with Nikita's other pokemon though, but eventually they were able to tolerate being with them. They realize they would have to, now that they're part of Nikita's "family".

For some reason, Girard also has some sort of unlucky streak; although they are a genuine being in what they do, something tends to go wrong every time. It's made getting friendly with others a lot harder and it tends to paint them as clumsy or awkward even more, but they were extremely grateful Nikita was patient enough to stick by them; this was also a factor on why Girard likes their trainer so much.

They are usually in their Altered form when around others or just in the real world in general. It's easier for them to move around in this form, and it's more or less a safer form to be in when around others. They only get into the Origin form when they go into the Distortion world, or when he gets really angry (which he tries not to be, but sometimes it couldn't be helped). They feel more free and comfortable in their Origin form (since they're been in it for so long) but their strength is much greater and they risk harming someone. They get really angry when someone or something try to hurt their trainer, and they'd tend to attack and not think. It'll take a lot of energy to try and calm them down.

In the end, Girard wants to be seen as good. Their bad luck and intimidating appearance doesn't make this easy for them, but they try their best.

This Pokémon is said to live in a world on the reverse side of ours, where common knowledge is distorted and strange.
