Jennifer isn’t a bad Animal, her sense of morals is just very, very different. Her aim in life is to just be left alone so she can exist without anyone interfering in some shape or form, but living with Blaze and getting to know her friends has chipped a little of that icy exterior of hers. Though that means that she will tolerate their existences, but anyone else just needs to back off or just die on the spot, thanks.

With her new life with Blaze, Jeniffer has taken on moonlighting as an urban witch that can do tarot readings and fortune telling, with some skills in herbal medicines and uses (this may or may not hint at what her previous life was like, and ultimately led to her demise, as Jennifer refuses to confirm nor deny this). Modern day Animals see this now as a novelty to some degree, and Jennifer does use this to her advantage, but if she comes across a customer that is genuine she will serve them properly, which makes her feel soft, but it makes Blaze happy when she does this. Which also makes her feel soft, but she does like her chaotic fire bug friend.

Jennifer can be mean, sarcastic, and snippy, but if you do manage to impress her in some way she will be less mean, sarcastic, and snippy. Her softer side tends to be reserved only for Blaze and in private quarters, but she’s also very protective of Blaze. Anything that manages to make the fox upset, Jennifer will end it in the messiest way possible.

What’s to say about Jennifer?

For one thing, she was murdered.

For another, when a supernatural entity stepped in to save her life, Jennifer’s first step in her second chance was to murder the people that murdered her. And as punishment for using her second chance in such a way, she was transformed into a demon.

For some Animals, that would have been a good sign to realise that maybe you were not handling things the best possible way. But for Jennifer it just gave her more power to do what she felt was right by her, and took hold of that punishment and terrorised many Animals until she was finally captured and sent to a place that wasn’t quite Hell itself, but it was very cold and very quiet.

It would have given Jennifer time to think about what she had done if she hadn’t of been encased in a spire of ice during that time, but her stay there wasn’t too long after she got accidentally summoned by Blaze while she was cleaning out her new basement. It was still a rude awakening, especially when Jennifer found out that not only was she summoned by accident, but she was now bound to Blaze, and no one has any idea how to break that binding.

Jennifer doesn’t talk much about her life previous to her death and demon-turning. She has a hard time remembering if there were any good times, and if she’s forced to talk about it she will dredge up the most haunting, vilest memories (that may or may have been made up just for that instance) until the Animal asking regretted their decision. Negative Angel was a nickname given to her by Jake after his third day of knowing her, and she revels in that name.
