Once upon a time a demigod who was known for being wise, intelligent, reasonable and actually caring about his followers and the world in general, and for this sin he was bound beneath the earth by his pantheon and driven insane by loneliness and torment.

To his followers too his madness seeped, tainting them beyond the reach of the light; though they were already exiled far underground so that worked out both metaphorically and literally.

And then they were broken out when an angry demon lord brought a party to the island and knocked over literally everything and fucked everyone. What a brave new world this is!

Unfortunately, he was already forever changed by his ordeal, reduced to but a shriveled shadow of his former self. Fortunately, some people are into small and miserable things, and he was rapidly adopted - by a demon queen.

With the eventual liberation of the island, he was freed of those clutches too.

Now he’s . . . trying. What is he trying? He’s not too sure either. But he’s definitely doing his best! If only he could just get out from under these blankets . . .

PERSONALITY:

• Quiet, reserved, dignified, melancholic
  •  . . . extremely hermity
• Despite everything he continues to be brave, moral, responsible and just, the voice of conscience no one listens to

• He was trapped in a him-shaped hole far underground, and shrank over time due to the loss of his power and stature. Eventually he shrank enough to actually move, curl up in a ball, lie down for a while, uncurl and start digging his way out, very very slowly
• All those knives also happened later, as a physical manifestation of his fear
