An upbeat ray of sunshine and endearing dorkiness. Leif is a glass-half-full kind of kid.
Leif is a jokester, a connoisseur of puns, memes, and early 2010s internet culture. He'll crack the corniest puns, and relishes in any reaction he can get, even if people find it annoying. Hey, it was funny in his own head. Leif's dumb jokes tend to be hit or miss with people.
Because of where he is on the autism spectrum, Leif's social skills are iffy, and has a hard time reading a room. He avoids eye contact, and is bad at picking up on body language. When Leif gets hyperfixated on something, he'll absorb info on the topic like a sponge. He's active in fandoms, writing and reading fan fics and admiring fan art. And given the chance, Leif will talk your ear off about his favorite things.
Leif is ambiverted, leaning more towards extrovert. He loves meeting people at anime conventions, and spending time with friends. When he's by himself, Leif indulges in anime, comics/manga.
Leif gay and proud, and will flaunt his rainbow colors as he sees fit. His family is supportive and unconditionally loving.
Leif lives in a family of four, with loving parents, and an older brother. Leif had a happy childhood.
Leif's dad, Landon, works as a sex-ed teacher, and shares his son's love of corny jokes. Leif's mom, Mellissa, is the more protective of the two. Being the "baby" in the family, as well as being autistic and gay, his mother will do anything to make sure Leif is happy and safe.
Leif and his older brother, Lars, get under each others' skin as brothers do. But their respective teasing is never malicious; just taking the piss out of each other as brothers do.
Coming from a progressive community, Leif feels no need to hide his gayness.
Leif makes videos on Vine under the name NachoNugget. Alongside his trusty best friend and cousin, Conner and Myles, respectively.

Myles sometimes shows up in Leif's vines and helps him make them. Myles adds some stability to Leif.
Leif's best friend. The two have been tight-knit since they were kids.
Conner is Leif's biggest chaos enabler.
They're both willing to stand up for one another. Leif is accepting of Conner being trans, and accompanies him to the bathroom to protect his otter buddy from transphobes.
They met each other at an convention about a year or two ago. They keep in touch online, mostly.
Summer gets tired of Leif's shenanigans. She tolerates him at best.

Jared tried to hit on Leif a few times, though it usually went over Leif's head. When Jared had to spell it out for Leif, he was rejected.
They're still buds, though. Jared kept Leif safe from Hime.
They're con buddies! Leif acts as sort of a big brother/"senpai" figure to Dax.
