Albert Morgenroth

(1919) Died at age 18, might have missed his train out.

(2019) Albert feeds on fear, getting stonger the more he is fed. When sufficiently charged up, he is just like a living human - visible, tangible, able to talk and even eat or drink (for camouflage only, as anything he ingests is just turned into ectoplasm). He can phase through solid matter, turn himself invisible and control any object within the house from a distance. May even be able to possess animals or people. Despite his tragic past and decades of imprisonment, Albert is an upbeat, happy and content ghost who likes to socialize. He loves children, who are often the only inhabitants of his house he can properly interact with, as adults usually don't take well to his appearance, and not just for his blunt refusal to wear clothes.

Thomas is the first adult to accept and understand him, so Albert will go to great lenghts to make him comfortable, even going so far as to materialize clothing when in view of visitors, despite of how uncomfortable being dressed makes him.

(2020) Through his Relationship with Thomas, Albert finds his purpose as a ghost to be living the life he missed out on. He grows more and more human, ages, learns to actually sleep, leave the house, and even get a job - not an easy life, but a good one.

(2021) Thomas's acceptance of his sensory needs also allows Albert to conform better with the social needs of others. He starts wearing clothes, first materialized from memory, later storebought, modern ones that are less triggering and even positively stimmulating - especially as he no longer has parents who dictate what he can and can't wear, and is free to dress as gay as he wants (he loves the positive attention, especially from Thomas, who seems to like the tight jeans).

Albert later gets two pet bunnies, Nemo(black) and Phileas(cream and white), both lop eared.

(2022/02/22) Married to Thomas, last NAme changed to Morgenroth. He now wears a ring on his left hand.

(2022/05/18) suddenly forster parents to Thomas' cousin Mia (age 3). Albert has a lot of experience with kids, and while Mia is a challenge in every respect, he loves her dearly and hates the idea that she won't stay with them forever.

Moods/Hobbies:

Usually upbeat and happy, unless he's overthinking. Usually hyperactive (jumping, fidgeting, doing garden work or spontaneyously cleaning the whole two-story house...), but may sit eerily still for hours (hyperfocussed on reading, drawing or playing video games). Very chatty and social. Loves to go on walks, hikes and camping trips. Also loves dancing (walz), horse riding, movies and any positive attention/socializing with friends. Extremely good with kids, though his foster child Mia is seriously testing him. Albert is definitely the nice/fun parent and primary caretaker. He works from home.

Chlothes:

2019 - usually none (Note: The clouds are NOT part of the character design/outfit. Feel free to replace them with any handy props if needed, or omit them if you're cool with nudity).

2020 - mostly his old clothes (1918 bavarian upper class). Add colorful cloth face masks and, after Channukka, a big, wooly sweater from Thomas' Grandma. It has a (christian) nativity motive lovingly knitted by hand. Also now owns a small collection of stim toys.

2021 - starts phasing towards modern clothes. Tight jeans and wide, colorful tops. Make it GAY. He wants to be seen and he wants to shine, and he is proud of who he is now. (Also Thomas really apreciates the tight jeans, so that's worth any slight discomfort.)

2021(summer) - Albert lost a lot of weight and had his hair buzzed short (it's along story), but since he can alter his appearance at will, he gets back to his regular shape as fast as it's believable to the neighbors. Back to normal by fall.

2022-2023 - still gay as all get out, with tight jeans and loose, colorful tops. He does have some more palletable clothes for church, though. His homewear is no longer 'naked' - especially with Mia around. The need for comfort eventually led to kigurumis and toe socks.
