Sometimes, we just need to chill

Lake used to work in a dead end job, standing at a register all day and being verbally abused by customers day in and day out. She had enough, but there wasn't anywhere else for her to go. Thankfully, a close friend of hers decided that he had had enough of the retail life too, and took his inheritance money to purchase land out in the mountains. He needed company, and asked her to acompany him. Together, they live in their own cabins on his land and live their lives the way they want to. Lake has been thinking about fostering children, but is heasitant on finally making the decision. Otherwise, she volunteers as a tour guide for the surrounding area.
