About

Zaire is a Hard head, she can tell a lie from miles away,and mostly emotionaless unless she is going through a manic episode. Her guard is up 24/7, only a few fellows have seen her without her walls up. Z is straight forward, honest, loyal, and prefers being alone in the darkness. She avoids light areas as her eyes are sensitive it light. Once you get to know Zaire, she is a completely different person; she is protective to those she holds close and is fun and a great person to play around with. She loves play fights and competition as she likes being on top but equal to all. Her mindset is well developed and makes sure no one is left out or experiences what she had to endure.

Appearance

Zaire is a Palomino Paint reaching 15 hands. Her eyes are light brown like hazelnuts. She always has some sort of braid in her hair, whether its her forelock, mane, or tail. The beads on her forlock contain the colors: light green, dark green, light blue, and purple-ish grey. Few freckles are spread throughout her body and her eye looks like faded smudged mascara.

Backstory

Zaire was born into a herd that was known to be fierce and loyal like lions in a pride, that is how the Abbas bloodline was made. Before Zaire was born, all the foals before her were males, not a single female was born for years. Because of that, Zaire’s parents already thought of a name for her as if she would be born a boy. Zaire is a name given to sons, however when Zaire was born, the herd was shocked, seeing the first filly in the herd. After days of deciding, her parents decided to change her name, but when they brought up the news, they noticed how Zaire was playing with the colts as if she was a boy. She showed fierce, strong, and risk taking actions. So in the end, they decided to keep her name the same and let her keep her strong personality without being discouraged. All the colts listened to her as if she was a colt, and even if she was the youngest, she was an equal to them, she made sure of it. When she turned 1, she was given a strand of beads and it was put in her hair as a reminder that she is a part of the Abbas bloodline, forever. This was a tradition to all foals when they reach age 1, symbolizing their loyality to the herd and a reminder of who they are and where they came from. The loss of her parents being taken from her by humans caused distress and was the main cause of her developing manic depression. After the separation of her parents at the age of 2, her manic periods slowly got worse, her moods would go through the charts. This made her friends worried for her and they kept their distance from her. Zaire didn't like herself during her periods and would always stay far from the herd to prevent them from seeing the monster she sees in her reflection. She always refused help and wanted to fix herself. Zaire hated the pity the herd put on her because of her conditions, she abandoned her family and friends as she did not wish for them to worry for her, forever. She lived alone ever since. She doesn’t believe in love. And promised herself that she only needs herself until the very end. However, the meeting of her and Wren changed her whole preception of the world.

Current Life

Meeting Wren unexpectedly as Wren was on an assassin mission and Z was just in crossfire, she grows curious in Wren and her job. The curiosity grew and Wren brought Zaire into the Aclina Assassin Guild to see how she reacts. With that happening, Z founds excitment and a passion in the guild. This led her to wanting to be apart of such a guild. Weeks of training and trials, she is accepted and is introduced to everyone. Her meeting people who share the same passion gave her peace. However, her growing close to other assassins, she adapts seperation anxiety and cannot imagine life without them. Because of that, she develops her own goal of protecting the assassins as well as completing her missions.

Being the one who brought Zaire into the guild, Wren was able to bring Zaire into her team. Their friendship grows close as Wren teaches Zaire to be a better assasin and excel to be the best possible for herself and her team.

Kasai [ Teammate ]

Ignoring Kaka's psyhopath-like tendencies, Zaire sees him as a role model. With his knowledge and training hard over the years growing up, she always watches his actions and techniques. Most times in training she'll ask him for help and advice to improve herself. Most times he ignores/declines her, but with Zaire being able to annoy the crap out of him, he gives in.
