About

Gloria is one-half merfolk and always wears long sleeves to hide her odd features. She has lived along the coastline all her life, and has heard about The Golden Goby as a feature in town, but she's always kept her distance before because she's always kept her distance from everyone in order to conceal her secret. Stumbling into the events at TGG by chance one day and meeting another young angel named Amos makes her realize that this might be a place where she doesn't have to keep hiding.

Trivia

• Gloria has scales and fins on her shoulders, running down her back, and covering her feet. She can be fully "human passing" with the right clothes, but compressing her fins is never comfortable.
• Gloria lives with her single mother, and helps out around the small sandwich shop that keeps them both going. Before finding TGG, sometimes the most social interaction Gloria might get in a week was a long conversation with a regular at the shop.
• Finding TGG does more than just bring community into Gloria's life; she also learns a lot about herself and how to embrace it. She uncovers a sharp wit, an interest in niche personal style, and a love for amateur photography.
