Sterling is acutely disliked by Amos and seems to distinctly enjoy this fact. He sweeps through TGG twice a day on average to push Amos' buttons and stir up the other patrons, all in good fun, or so he says. Lucy plays along, though it's not clear whether she's doing so to give Amos some much-needed space from Sterling, or whether she genuinely enjoys the antics. Sterling is completely baffled by Gloria, as he can neither seem to rile her up nor get her involved in his "harmless pranks."
