Dragon Age: Snow is the twin sister of Rain Cousland, the soon to be named Queen that would save Ferelden. During beginning of Origins, before her family was killed, Snow was to be wed to another Lord. After much deliberation, Snow refused and cut her long beautiful hair and tattooed her face—making her ill fitted to be a proper wife and bride. (Her twin brother soon followed her footsteps in support for his sibling.) Following the tragic events of her family’s death and her brother’s disappearance, Snow set off to become a Grey Warden to avenge her name—earning her many nightmares and friends along the way. As news of this Grey Warden traveled, Snow was reunited with Rain who later join her team and mysteriously disappear in a selfless act of sacrifice for his sister. After the events of the journey, Ferelden was saved and Snow became Queen along with her lover Alistair’s anointment as King. She spends her days in the castle commanding armies, sending aid and looking for any sign of Randolph Tiberius Cousland.
Dragon Age II: After Ferelden had been saved and the rebuilding of the kingdom had started, Snow set off on her own journey after news of a white haired man bearing the likeness to the Queen was spotted. The journey was long and fruitless, the queen was thought to be never heard from again if it weren’t for the letters she would send to her Husband that tells him of her journey.
Dragon Age Inquisition: Years after the events of the Champion of Kirkwall and during the events of the Inquisition, the Queens letters stopped and she was never heard from again since. Rain, while still under the impression of being a Trevelyan, was advised to set out and look for the Hero and Queen in hopes she would aid the party in closing the breach. Snow was found in a temple frozen in time and in the midst of battle. Once the spell was broken, Snow was set free and was reunited with her brother whom she more than happily reminded of their past with a punch in the face.
Sonya Snow Cousland would eventually die in an act of selfless sacrifice for her brother during a raid into the fade, just as he sacrificed for her once long ago.
Modern Day: Everything that had happened in his Dragon Age verse had been the plot and story of a fantasy trilogy, kind of like Game of Thrones. Snow MacCoughlan is actually an actress, along with her twin brother Randolph who both hail from Dublin, Ireland. Both her, her brother Rain, and their Cousin Hawke are famous for their main roles in the Dragon Age Series as well as in popular theater plays.
