About

In general, Ozerin is the type that is incredibly friendly and charming. He's methodical, thoughtful, and polite, especially with strangers, but is quick to lose his temper. He has a strong sense of justice, but doesn’t shy away from underhanded tactics if it is for the greater good. He dislikes the system of powers and people who take advantage of their position of power. On the surface he’s good at putting up with unpleasantries, but tends to simmer and plan petty revenge in his head. He used to be much more volatile in his younger days but has mellowed since, with an exception with those closest to him. He is immensely protective of those around him, and being prevented from helping someone is a huge frustration to him. When he firmly believes that there is no way for him to get along with another he can become quite mouthy and challenging even if it’s to his own detriment.

Background (REALLY ROUGH WIP)

Ozerin was from a middle class family with a close working relationship with an upper class family. They were a family who were generationally trained and worked alongside high class family as their bodyguards. Ozerin himself was trained to be the next heir’s bodyguard and was raised alongside him to ensure loyalty and devotion. Because of that, Ozerin developed a close friendship with the family’s only child and for most of their years they were connected at the hip. They planned that when they were grown kits they would take over the childhood friend’s family business together as equals instead of employer and employee. Unfortunately, they discovered that the said business had some underhanded dealings with the criminal underworld. Both kits wanted to change things within the business to rid it of any criminal dealings. Unfortunately due to a lack of communication they both went about it differently and eventually that would lead to a falling out and Ozerin leaving.

Ozerin wanted to change things before his friend would have to be involved in criminal acts and dirty their hands, but their friend was resigned to working their way to the top before they rid their family business of their criminal connection. In the end, Ozerin tried to dig deeper into who was involved and hand over the information to the authorities, but was caught or maybe the information wasn’t enough and Oz was caught. Only through Ozerin’s friend intervention, a deal to save Ozerin’s life was made. The deal was his friend would start working/being involved in criminal work earlier in life and both Oz and his friends will be under supervision. If any move is observed against the family, then Oz will be eliminated.

After the fallout, Ozerin leaves home and attempts to make something for himself out of the hands of his family and their employers’. He lived on the street for a while hopping between odd jobs. At this time Ozerin was a reckless and self sacrificing teen,who often would pick fights on the behalf of others regardless of what would happen to him. He genuinely wants to help people but his actions are guided by his guilt towards being unable to help someone close to him and that mutates his actions into something both selfish but selfless. He would one day meet a older kit, Grant Pomé, and later be convinced to learn restraint and settle down.

• His utensil is a bartending jigger
• Had a high class kit as a childhood friend, they had a falling out and Ozerin ran away from them. He still misses them dearly.
• He used to be self conscious of the large sugar markings on his face.
• As a teen Oz often broke into or snuck into high class parties and nightclubs.
• At a weird transitional stage of trying to make party/event planning a full time job.
• Most parties he hired to plan are for the upper class. He got his start working in a nightclub, and planned a party in a pinch and it all escalated from there.

Its through meeting a certain person that he realized that his behavior while tolerated and taken in good will by Grant was truely doing himself and others no favor and he was hurting people more than he was helping.
