• Prequel character, Shades ex-husband, Swiftsongs father. Once a respectful, loving, noble and daring man.. reduced to nothing but another victim on Shades list.
• Shade and Hawk had a blossoming relationship with him supporting her rise to power and the dastardly acts she committed to get there. He never minded it being the two of them, but his worries got the better of him when she revealed she was pregnant. He lashed out at her and accused her of daring to sacrifice all that she's done to get to her current position over a child. He promptly abandoned her in the height of her pregnancy ailments and fled to the woods. Shade managed to hunt him down on her own and murder him before the kit was ever born. His actions led Shade to raise their daughter in an anti-romance sentiment, hoping she could avoid the same mistakes that further broke her mothers trust in others.
