Basics
Jovian, called "Jo" by close friends, is the heir to the throne. He is thoroughly not a fan of this fact and does much to disrupt his inevitable accension to lordship. He's known Bryn for years, namely because they were in a special education class together, and has been by her side since. He's arrogant but means well, always cracking jokes and teasing Bryn (though in a much nicer, light-hearted way than the monster hunters). While he can be frustrated and nerve-wracked about helping Bryn hide her monstrous friend, he cares deeply for Bryn and eventually Keeva too, and will do what he can to help them

About
Jovian would be much happier if someone, anyone, would take his place as the next ruler. He spent many years convinving his mother he would not EVER marry someone, and after barely being able to convince her of that, there would be no way to decline the throne. In the meantime, he causes as much trouble as he can. Ditching classes, banquets, meetings, etc. He is devoted to the arts and has a near-pretentious attitude about it. He's often found painting in the expansive gardens of his palace. And as of late, he's also found trying to help two insane people out. Or rather, an insane human (his best friend) and an insane monster (Keeva)- the latter of which he's pretty sure is messing with him sometimes
