• baking & eating sweets (but they. cant really eat that stuff much anymore)
• doing artsy and crafty stuff like sewing or making things with clay
• spending time with their friends

dislikes

• feeding on blood from people, especially from their friends
• their ex
  
• unfortunately since their ex is also a vampire they are hard to avoid for long

vampirism

inspirations include Haema, the Simon Snow series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and also my homebrew dnd vampire stat block lol

• they're a hematophage - their digestive system needs them to eat blood pretty much exclusively.
• they can eat regular food but only in small portions and it upsets their tummy :( kinda like a lactose intolerance almost?
• crow can only die to certain things like  wooden weapons, and some Generally Very Deadly things like drowning/asphyxiation, dragonfire, and probably a small handful of other things.
• interestingly normal things can also kill them but only in direct sunlight. theyve heard stories abt this
• crow's skin is really sensitive to sunlight, not to the point where they catch on fire immediately, but like... they can't stay out long. they get nasty sunburns and one time they swear they were about to catch fire.
• this is resolved decently well with clothes and hats though! also longer-furred vamps don't really have as much issue here
• their eyes are also quite sensitive to light - daylight can be almost blindingly bright. they cannot drive during the day without sunglasses.
• however, crow has excellent night vision! it could be barely illuminated and they can still make out shapes and such.
• vampirism is spread via biting (blood "sharing" too? unsure yet). though the injector method haema uses would probably work too.
• it takes a long time for someone to fully become a vampire like, the changes happen quite slowly. normal diet for their species is slowly replaced by a diet of blood exclusively.
• they sparkle, i just think it's neat :) and it's inspired by the sprinkles on cake!starr. i haven't decided if other vampires in this universe also sparkle.
• vampires seem to live longer lives than people usually but only if they keep themselves under wraps. most humans don't necessarily believe in vampires but if you do something foolish people will still Do Something About You usually.

personality

• they're a little wary of people but they're getting more friendly
• generally tries to be honest but had very bad lying habits in the past and  sometimes defaults to them
• would do anything to keep crows friends safe, especially because very few things can kill crow
• can be a bit reckless regarding their own safety though.
• always either dialing it up to 11 or dialing it down to 0, no in-between.
• hates being reminded of certain things from the past, damn i wonder why!
• "no i wouldnt say i have trauma. its not that bad." (they have trauma & minimize it unfortunately)
• they're very averse to feeding from people, especially their friends, so mostly they eat animal blood.
• there's a reason for it.
