Lisa

As a water spirit, Lisa never really had a 'family.' She had the others of her kind, that inhabited the nearby creeks and rivers. She felt the way her nature called to her, and the actions others of her kind wanted her to take. She drowned an animal or two for food, yes. Yet never did she feel like drowning others for-- what? Joy? Satisfaction? Some sick sadistic game?-- would ever bring her any mote of happiness. Nor did it seem to have a point. Perhaps that was the start of a moral code, or simply a matter of her opinion, but it didn't entirely matter. She didn't want to spend her life living in a river drowning people. Spending her days wasting musical talent playing for the fish and trees didn't fulfill her.
It was when a mysterious brochure wound up on her banks that Lisa decided to change things. Taking up a job in a place where she'd have regular contact with water was just a natural step for her. It kept her healthy, she got to help people, and all while still feeling safe and at home. Of course, she misses her river, but never does she miss the loneliness.

As a nokken, Lisa is a shapeshifting water spirit who's default form is that of a pearly white horse with a long, curly mane. She can transform into any animal, though she tends to only present herself as horse or human. If someone's skin touches hers, she can make them stick to her more firmly than any superglue.
