Michael (Vampire)

Bitten at the age of 30, the whole "being a vampire" thing was never intentional. He flirted with a woman on the street thinking he would have a nice time, but ended up getting bit the moment his guard was down.
Understandably, Michael is more than a little stressed by the development. All the things that come with being a vampire were never part of his measly life plan. Plus, the act of drinking blood implies the necessity of hurting people. True, Gleannes sells easily accessible animal blood, but the change is frightening and affects nearly everything in his life. Besides, refrigerated cow blood from the butchers can never replace warm blood straight from a person. The quality just isn't comparable, and the urge is hard to ignore.
Luckily for him, Michael has made friends with one Domovoi Silver, whose regenerative abilities and endless patience have been a godsend. 

As a vampire, Michael has gained several abilities.
His strength, agility, and all of his senses have heightened, and he's gained a sensitivity to light and the sun. Most things can't kill him anymore, including large falls and a bullet to the heart. Except, of course, if the bullet is silver. Under too much exposure, sunlight will kill him. He can now train to use magic, and instinctively understands and is able to talk to animals, as well as shapeshift. This shapeshifting is so far limited to animals, but with practice can be expanded. As a baby vamp, these are still things he can do only with great amateurism.
