Cordelia loves people. She loves to know their stories, their likes, their dislikes, but is uncomfortable with people knowing her. In her opinion, there is little reason why anyone should grow close to her. That isn't to say it's impossible to know or befriend her- but Cordelia has trouble coming significantly close with people. Her friendships tend to be casual, and when she helps people, it's because she wants to rather than feels an obligation.
It's a nasty habit of hers to snoop and spy on others, not for any nefarious purpose, but simply because she can. Cordelia knows it's an invasion of privacy, but she can't help it. She's not used to people recognizing the nearby raven as a full-blown person.
While Cordelia tries not to hoard and frequently clears out her space of useless knick-knacks, it is always cluttered with random shiny objects.
Cordelia started as a hatchling within a common raven's nest, nestled alongside her siblings. For about three years, she lived as any ordinary raven might, before she discovered that she could freely remove her feathers. This realization was startling and frightening, as not only did she have no idea what to do about this whole other body, her family didn't either. Humans reacted badly to a naked woman that hardly knew a thing about human society. Over time, by staying within her native form and spying on the humans that went about their daily lives, she learned. In turn, she would teach her family things that would be of use to them. For a long time, she had no idea if she would outlive them, or be able to die by their side. Though she doesn't know it, Cordelia's lifespan is indefinite, though she can still be killed by ordinary means.
On her sixth hatchday, Cordelia started having visions. Similar to when she discovered her human shape, they scared her, and this time she had no example to learn from. Eventually, she learned to put up with the constant influx of new information, despite the headache it creates. She hasn't a clue what made it so she could shift between human and raven, but she knows that she has never met another like her. To a degree, it's lonely and alienating, and she has little hope of meeting another, even if only to help understand why it happened.
Cordelia's visions tend to pertain to death and tragedy. What people define as "tragedy" can vary, however, which grants Cordelia a bit of variance in her visions. The actual usefulness of this is rare, though, as there is lots of death and tragedy in the world, and more so when you count alternate timelines and universes. It's overwhelming and exhausting, is what it is. She has a little bit of control over these visions, however- Cordelia can focus on a certain person, object, or place, and her visions will pertain to her focus for a certain amount of time. These visions can slow or show more mundane things, offering Cordelia a mental break, but are always constant and have replaced her dreams during sleep.
