Personality: Kardyn doesn't talk, or really make much noise besides dragon grunts. He communicates what wants through those grunts and through different body movements to get across what he wants. Because he can be more akin to a dog at times, many see him as a bit aloof and not always paying attention. In reality he is a pretty good listener, and fiercely protective of the ones he cares about. Though he can be easy to trust, and often times his protectiveness can be seen as overprotective and a little much, even if he means well. 

Backstory: Not much is known about Kardyn's past, though when was found he was a wild dragon, instead of one bred specifically to be a familiar for a mage. Though he has had some human interaction before, being a bit friendly with them. Though his friendly nature led him to be caught in a trap. Luckily for him, before he was found by the ones who laid the trap, he was found by Kris, a Young mage traveling the world to attempt to get better at magic.

Kris took pity on the poor trapped Kardyn, and freed him from the trap, expecting him to just fly away after. Instead, Kardyn stuck around Kris, even following her into town. At that time Kris decided to keep Kardyn around, making him her familiar and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Extra notes: Kardyn's dragon abilities are determined by the type of dragon he is. He is a water type dragon. There are also fire, wind, lightning, and dark magic dragons. His water abilities let him spray water out of his mouth, as well as freeze or turn it to steam. He is able to fly as well, being strong enough to carry a person on his back. He can also swim exceptionally well, being able to manipulate the water around him to streamline his swimming even more.
