Only daughter of owners of a powerful metal factory, Louise was destined to a bright future, even promised to a man from yet another wealthy background. However, tragic events turned her into a lone vampire from this latter. Despite everything, Louise always remained thoughtful to others, humble, devoted, as well as being known for her high knowledge toward surnatural beings.

Backstory

Past

Daughter of prideful owners of a wealthy metal factory, Louise was always involved with her family's industry.
Her parents often brought her along with them at work to show her the ropes of their work, as well as keeping an eye on the young child when no one was around at their mansion.
However, being surrounded at such an early age by toxic chemistry and metals impacted her health, Louise developed lung cancer by growing up; giving her low chance of survival for long.
Still, she was promised to the son of a rival factory's owners.
Not only did they hope of getting even more powerful, but now, perhaps could they just get as much financial support as needed to acquire the best possible doctors from Louise's arranged marriage.
But the rival family quickly learnt about their shenanigans, and couldn't tolerate such outrage of hoping to steal them for their daughter's health, not expecting to the slightest to have messed with the wrong family.

Strong industry of vampires, they one night invaded Louise's mansion to get rid of the nuisances who wished to drain their wealth, and things got terribly wrong; it was a massacre.
Louise got to see her family pass away in the hands of her own fiancé, with no sign of sympathy in his eyes the moment they met her own. Instead, it felt like he was glancing at his own victim.
Since she was too physically weak to fight back, the young man, if he could still be considered a man, managed to have fun in another manner.
Promised to him, she was destined either way to serve as his blood bank, and he simply claimed what was his earlier than expected. Biting her up and drinking, Louise thought everything was over...
But the pain somehow stopped shortly after.
She was terrified and foreign to the reason why he straight up released her, but managed to hold on her bit of strength left to crawl as far as possible, only to find him suffocating and guessing the answer behind this not long after.

Her blood was filled with toxins from all the metals and silver she had been living close to her whole life, the exact same cause of her cancer.
Her assailant was now struggling against the poison he consumed, atrociously mortal for vampires and promising him for a slow and painful death. Louise's instincts taking over, knowing her home was no longer safe, she ran away, only having one place to go in mind.
Lost, weak, hurt, and panicked, she went to one of her parents' business collaborator, known for being one of the most fearsome gang leader around. Louise had nothing to lose, not caring a single time if seeing a young, well-dressed up yet covered in blood woman like her around the dark districts of the city was weird. She eventually reached her destination, hidden in a pub's basement.

Recognising Louise as her business partners' daughter, at first, the gang leader could only brush her away. Even after learning the said tragedy of her family, it still wasn't enough for the boss to care.
She already had plenty of other affiliates to work with.
However, the leader reconsidered her choice when Louise elaborated on her situation, the fact that she was bitten by a vampire, the rival industry... Not without passing out from exhaustion right after.
For once, something finally stoop up from the rest enough to pick the leader's interest, ordering her men to get a room for Louise and treat her wounds.
Zephyr had found a new playground to have fun in.

Taking Louise under her wing, Zephyr agreed to let her stay for the time being, as long as she proved herself worthy.
The gang leader would "dispose" of the vampire family, and, thanks to Louise, she would collect any informations needed to gain both of families' wealth in exchange.
Louise's family now avenged from their terrible faith, all that remained being an empty mansion, the metal factory, and two holes on her neck.

Thankfully, Zephyr seemed to have grown attached to the young woman, letting her stay ever since she first showed up, as if she became part of her family.
Yet, Louise began to feel different overtime. First blaming it on her grief toward her family, Zephyr had a different explanation for it.
And it proved itself more and more valuable.
Especially once Louise's health not only improved, but even better than anticipated.
A weird sensation of starvation followed, growing so strong that she uncontrollably tried to attack Zephyr, which obviously ended up ineffective against someone of her rank.
It was confirmed that Louise turned into a vampire.
The need for blood surely wasn't an issue, Zephyr having plenty of men to hand over, donating their blood to the young woman as she wasn't confident in biting them. Like a miracle, Louise seemed cured of all trace of cancer, drinking blood working like a vaccine as long as she satisfied her thirst.

With years passing, and neither her or Zephyr ageing up, the group thrived on criminal records, seemingly unstoppable. Though, an event Louise couldn't place a finger on made Zephyr take the decision of moving away from the country, which was weird coming from her.
She never feared the authorities once, and yet it looked like she was running away from them.
Actually, with Techn0, one of her closest colleague, they seemed to be the only ones with a few trustworthy men Zephyr allowed to follow her if they wanted to.
Since Louise no longer had a reason to stay as the only thing keeping her here was Zephyr, who gave her another chance to live, she took the decision to leave with her without thinking.
She was her new family now; and deep down, Zephyr started to think so as well.

With their inhuman abilities, they managed to live the country without main casualties. However, the authorities quickly got aware of it, and now unable to work on this case, they alerted the place the criminal group headed toward. As immediate threat, the DSS took the lead for the case.

Present

Away from their past, and with the occasion to expend their influence even further, Zephyr took her chance by hiding her criminal record without restricting it in any way.
In fact, with the help of new trustworthy people getting a new chance with life by working with Zephyr, and with their help, the whole group managed to take over a model agency, using it as a camouflage while the illegal activities still occurred behind the scene, hidden from the public eye.
Being one of Zephyr's closest hench(wo)man, Louise was in charge of collecting any useful information, like her personal assistant while most members, like Makoto, were taking care of the model agency's business in order to keep everything in check.
Luckily, Louise had the freedom to discover the new area and accommodate, using her freetime to learn more about her condition. She had the honor of meeting vampires just like her, or she could casually learn about her co-workers, her closest ones being quite unique just like her.
Growing in influence and popularity, things took a drastic turn when their criminal gang was thriving a bit too much for the city's safety.

Louise knew what she was part of wasn't morally correct, but never expected to someday be reached out by the authorities in charge of taking care of surnatural matter, some agents taking her away.
Not being able to directly reach out to the leader Zephyr without dangerous risks, the DSS took the decision of waiting for the right occasion to arrest the weakest and closest members, Louise falling into their grip, and soon after, Aeris.

Both now being under the DSS care, they wouldn't be free until Zephyr finally decided to show herself.
For the time being, Louise had to stay in the facility, away from Aeris and the rest of her squad and had to go through a bunch of interrogatories from one of their agents.
As if they tried not to make her stay emotionally painful, they sent a vampire to take care of her, as if they wanted her to feel a bit of familiarity in order to be cooperative.
Cleo was surprisingly very careful in making Louise feeling at ease, sometimes asking more questions about herself in order to get acquaintanced rather than the whole criminal business she was in. The blond vampire knew it was mostly a way to learn how and why she joined Zephyr, but answered nevertheless, managing to have normal conversations with the other vampire to the point of bonding with her.

Soon enough, however, Zephyr eventually reached to Louise and Aeris, bringing them back to her.
Louise had never seen her boss showing much affection, but there was a pain in her eyes she noticed.
She realised Zephyr had been worried for them, and seemed relieved to see them safe.
Her leader had to make a deal to work with the DSS when asked in order to get them back; to what Louise found herself happy to learn.
After those events, Louise now had the possibility to reach out to the DSS quarters as an allowed visitor, sometimes with Aeris, much to her surprise.
At least, it gave her the possibility to spend time with her new friends Cleo and Glitch, who revealed to her they liked her presence just as much.

Louise had now the habit of spending most of her free time with the two, often at the same time, making a quite unique friendship, as they enjoyed flirting with her, without Louise catching any hint, while Cleo and Glitch would often argue in friendly rivalry.
Yet, Cleo was far more secretive and shy than Glitch, who often took that opportunity to have most of his time with Louise. The blondie could never get a finger on the reason why Cleo always seemed to be putting a barrier between the two vampires, to the point of slowly stepping away from her best friend after a while.
She was so distant compared to the first time they met, she genuinely had no idea what could have gotten wrong between them.
Her other best friend, Glitch, also Cleo's co-worker, apparently didn't get more chances to know either, just jesting about how she might be jealous. But other than that, he was a bit worried as well.

It only got worse when Louise eventually tried to reach for Cleo once, carefully asking her if everything was alright. In response, however, she ended up getting yelled at, as if the goth couldn't bare the sight of Louise in front of her anymore.

This event was so uncalled for, it all pilled up in Louise's mind, asking herself multiple times what did she do wrong to Cleo. She wasn't the kind to express much about her feelings, so the blondie had no ideas on what was in her mind at this exact moment.
Trying not to show off as deeply impacted, to avoid making Cleo guilty of her actions, she simply left her without a word.
Her only escape and way of comfort was to find Glitch, being the only one aware of the situation at the time.

And so, for quite a while, she never got any news from Cleo, as if she disappeared from the radars. She only knew from Glitch that she was still working, not doing anything else, which was at least the minimum she could hear about her.
In the meantime, Louise in need of comfort got much closer to Glitch, eventually finally understanding that his flirting weren't only meant as a joke between friends.
They got even closer ever since, but didn't make anything official just yet, Louise still rather confused about her emotions, even more considering she couldn't get Cleo out of her mind. Not only was she worried about her, but she started to uncontrollably feel the same way she was feeling for Glitch, and she couldn't bring herself to openly show her love to him while also having feelings for another at the same time.

In her room, thinking for herself, fate knocked at her door, revealing Cleo herself, which caught Louise off guard. Her vampire friend wasn't the kind to take the initiative to visit her, and seeing her ever since she scolded her wasn't something she expected.
Yet, she gladly allowed her to come in, giving her all the time she needed to open up on her situation, and actually giving an explanation for her behavior; even though Louise knew it wasn't something easy for her.
More than a simple crush, Cleo grew envious of how Louise handled her new life as a vampire, revealing to her the tragic past she went through until now.
Unlike Cleo predicted, instead of being mad for lashing out her frustration at Louise, the pink one instead was understanding, and, more than that, returned her feelings.
But Louise decided to be honest with her. She couldn't be on a relationship with her, as she felt attraction toward both of her best friends, Cleo, and Glitch.

But much to her surprise, Cleo didn't mind at all Louise's honesty, suggesting her to sort things out with Glitch as well.
As if he heard the conversation, the human-glitch came out of Louise's computer, which was the perfect timing for a conversation between the three. Both having feelings for Louise, while Louise expressed feelings toward the both of them, they eventually agreed to try taking a step further in their relationship.
