Lief is the god of love and a minor antagonist in Demihumans. He is also the father of Rose Blackthrone-Wilson.

Backstory

Lief was created 300 million years ago by the original gods. He was a trouble-maker, and enjoyed toying with the other gods. When humans became common, he began toying with them as well. He fought in the war against the Netherworlders. After the war, he continued to toy with humans, by stealing their love. He also wanted to be a teacher at Demihumans Academy, however he was turned down due to his frivolous nature. In the recent era, he and a human man had a daughter named Rose Blackthrone-Wilson. However, he later killed the human father and the rest of her family so he could raise Rose himself. He raised her on the Skylands until she was 12, when she started attending Demihumans Academy.

Personality

Lief is flamboyant, frivolous, but also mischevious and deceitful. He enjoys toying with humans, stealing their love, leaving them drained as a result. He also enjoys toying with Demihumans, and causes problems for them as a result. He is charismatic when he needs to be, but gets extremely offended when anyone 'resists' his charms, and shows a more aggressive side to his personality. Despite this, he cares very greatly for his children, putting them above all else.

- Lief is somewhat inspired by Queen Chrysalis from MLP: FiM.

- Lief is heavily disliked by many of the other gods.

- Lief is also inspired by Cupid and Aphrodite from Greco-Roman mythology.

- Lief can make himself appear more feminine if needed.
