Respira was born in Dark Woods, the daughter of Nikita and Nachikuitis, the current King. At the time, no one was allowed to have slaves and her father got in a lot of trouble for keeping one hidden away. Respira had a twin brother named Antiquitis, which she later learned was her half brother, who had a different father.

first year

Respira grew up in a cell the first two weeks of her life, being treated very much like a slave. However, she was eventually released and treated like a normal herd member. As a child, Respira was often off to the side and quiet, but she wasn't anti-social in the least. She and her brother were very close early in life. She got into quite a bit of trouble, being the rebel that she was. She often disobeyed her Neutral mother, who she saw as weak, and was often ignored by her father, who favored and spent much more time with her brother. Because of this, she and her brother started drifting apart. She often wandered to the Free lands and got into various verbal and physical fights.

second year

At two years of age, Respira considered herself fully grown and detached completely from Dark Woods. She wandered the Free lands for many months before she met a stallion named Black Ice. The two of them grew close and became best friends.

third year

Respira left her wandering in the Free lands and went to live with Black Ice in his lands of Dark Waters. The two of them eventually had sex for the first time. Respira then found herself to be pregnant with her first child and the two of them fell in love with this realization. Respira was made Queen of Dark Waters. However, Black Ice vanished mysteriously before he even got a chance to see the child. Respira stayed in Dark Waters alone and pregnant. Dark Waters was then challenged for by a stallion named Limbonic Art. Respira took up the challenge and fought the stallion, though she lost the fight.

fourth year

Respira was not overly upset over the loss of land considering the mate that had owned it was gone. She went back to Dark Woods and gave birth to her daughter Sweet Sacrifice in the saftey of its borders. She raised the girl for a couple of months and was promoted to Beta mare, a position previously served by her mother, Nikita. However, she quickly grew sick of the family she had never attached to and left Wild Equines completely with Sweet Sacrifice in tow. She met several stallions while outside of Wild Equines, searching for a father figure for her daughter. However, she eventually gave up the search.

Being away from Wild Equines helped Respira to find herself - her true self. She experimented and found her ideals. She became strong and independent raising a child on her own.

When Sweet Sacrifice was old enough to be on her own, Respira let her go. It was hard to see her firstborn child go off on her own, but Respira had raised her right and made sure she was strong enough to handle anything. Now alone, Respira decided to return to Wild Equines.

fifth year

She returned home the eve of her fifth year. She had already decided beforehand that she was not going to re-establish contact with her family and instead, steered away from them completely. Instead, she went to the Helkaer grounds, the very opposite of what her family would be involved in. From there, she met a Helkaer stallion named Camouflage. From the get-go the two of them got along and she took her home up there, enjoying his company and the easy-going nature of their friendship.

Only a few months later it was announced that they needed a new member to join the Helkaer ranks. Respira decided to audition herself and won a position as Colonel of the Helkaer. Camouflage was the first to greet her in her new home of Toxin Raj and told her his real name - Castle.

Respira visited the Free lands often, ready and eager to gain new members into her territory. She acquired a mare named Faridah into Toxin Raj and the mare quickly took up the position as Respira's assistant, being a very reliable and skillful spy. A mare named Maxim also joined Toxin Raj shortly afterward.

It was at this time that Respira decided to try her hands at stealing. She successfully nabbed a mare named Bronx King from a Dark stallion named Lancelot. She was challenged for Bronx's freedom by the stallion and the two of them faced off in the battle grounds - her first battle in two years. She won the battle, though she was left with a scar in her right hind leg. She took Bronx King home to Toxin Raj, eager to have a punching bag. However, Bronx King proposed a deal and offered to trade two other mares in return for her own freedom. Respira agreed, knowing two mares were better than one. The two of them went and captured two mares named Vicodin and Twinge. Respira enslaved them immediately and let Bronx go. Resira then traveled to see Cleopatra, her fellow Helkaer sister, whom had won a position in the audition following her own. The two struck up an easy friendship.

Respira then discovered that Castle had been stolen by a Light stallion named Amaretto. She stole Castle back and was challenged, though the fight was dropped for unknown reasons. Respira then stole another - this time a stallion named Atreyu from a stallion named Predator. Atreyu arrived in a completely different demeanor than Bronx King had, easy-going and ready to accept his fate. Respira was surprised at this and instead, offered him a position as a Guard rather than a slave. He accepted.

The security of Respira's home was then tested when she was attacked by a stallion named Carousel and another unidentified attacker. They gave no reason to the attack and only left cryptic messages. She was badly injured trying to defend herself from two horses at once. With the assistance of Castle and Faridah, she managed to heal quickly without scars. She and Castle worked out plans to discover the identity of the assailants and extract their revenge on them, but they never found out who they were. Respira and Castle's relationship continued to strengthen, particularly after this event and they started spending a fair amount of time together. Eventually, the two of them slept together for the first time.

sixth year

Respira frequently wandered the Free lands in search of members and eventually came across a mare named Serpent whom seemed formidable enough to become her Second in Command or Beta mare. She elected the mare into the role. A couple of weeks afterward, Respira noticed her body changing again and realized that she was pregnant with Castle's child. She quickly went to notify Castle of the fact and was delighted at how surprised the stallion became, the way his face lit up with pride and how he told her he would never leave her like her past mate had done. In the heat of the moment the two of them confessed their feelings for one another and became official mates.

Respira met another stallion while wandering the Free lands named Giovanni. The two of them got along quickly and the two swore an alliance together with Giovanni promising her a foal to train.

Several months down the road, Respira gives birth to her child, which ends up being children. She is shocked to give birth to triplets and passes out due to the bloodloss and extra trauma on her body. Luckily, Castle arrives, hearing from Faridah that Respira was in labor and he manages to revive the palomino from her stupor. The two of them name their children Lanathia, Mansion, and Death Chant, pleased to welcome them to their slowly growing family.

seventh year

Respira revelled being able to raise her children with her mate by her side, so different from the situation she was in the last time. During this time, she was visited by a stallion named Horst Cabal, who proposed to her a deal regarding a whorehouse slave trade starting up in the area. She agreed to be a part of the trade and awaited his word, though it never came.

She then murdered two of her current slaves, Vicodin and Twinge, in a fit of rage. Vicodin had been nursing a foal at her side, meaning she had been out of her cell to fornicate with someone. Respira took in the young colt and named him Azul Morte. Respira then stole another mare, a Light vixen that was a newly crowned herd leader named Fenris. However, Respira was met with disappointment as the mare passed away shortly after the steal was made. Respira still got to keep the two slaves that traded themselves for Fenris, a stallion named Blanc Ro and a mare named Red Opal Heart.

Respira's assistant, Faridah, then went missing on a mission and Respira never heard from her again. All attempts to find the bay mare were in vain and Respira wondered if the mare purposely abandoned the herd. Respira then went to Giovanni's lands to see how the pregnant mare was coming along and Giovanni went along to show her another mare that was under his care. The mare had a foal by her side that had been sired by a Helkaer. She was Emmaline, the Dark Royal heiress and daughter of Incognito, the current Dark King. The identity of the child was unmistakeable, considering its bay coloration and hazel eyes. Respira was furious to find this out and quickly went to confront Castle in his lands.

Castle was angry with her at first for finding out about it and they got into a heated verbal argument over it. Eventually Castle explained and apologized to Respira before an unexpected guest arrived at their meeting - a cougar. Castle defended Respira from the cougar's attack and eventually the big cat left. He saved her from being hurt, but Respira gained a fear of cougars ever since. Respira decided to forgive him for Emmaline, but their relationship was rocky for several weeks afterward, the two avoiding each other and not speaking. Respira then met Morgana Pendragon and her daughter, Anger. She agreed to take them both into the herd and sent Morgana on an assassin assignment and threw her daughter into the slave cells of Toxin Raj for disrespect. She then encountered a mare named Minaethiel, whom she made Second in Command after the disappearance of Serpent.

After this, Respira held a herd meeting for Toxin Raj to get the different members to meet each other as well as assign positions and ranks. She then decided to go visit Carnevale Letale to see the status of the whorehouse deal she had made months earlier. However, during this time, she was attempted to be stolen by Carnevale Letale and the challenge for her was dropped. She walked to borders of Carnevale Letale and met with Samael and Johannes Cabal. Samael informed her that he was the one who had wanted her stolen as a present for his mother while Johannes Cabal apologized for the lack of communication on their deal. Respira left, content at what she had learned, but she had no further contact from the Cabal family as they slowly disappeared from Wild Equines.

eighth year

Unfortunately, Toxin Raj had another unexpected and unwelcomed visitor as Incognito arrived on her lands. Respira confronted the Dark Royal King on his purposes for being in the Helkaer territories. Incognito revealed his intentions to rape and impregnate her in revenge for his own daughter's rape. The two spit insults at each other before getting into a physical fight. Respira was eventually overpowered by the Dark King and he brutually raped her and left her bleeding in her own territory. Her herd members discovered this and were infuriated and distraught, particularly Atreyu, who felt he had failed as her guard. She managed to recover and discovered that she was unfortunately pregnant, Incognito having gotten the timing correct.

However, Respira refused to back down from her duties. She waited a fair amount of time and waited for herself to heal before she attempted another steal and succeeded, this time taking a stallion named Stealth. The stallion arrived at her lands, but also arrived with an unwelcome visitor - his mother, Narcissa. In her haste to save her son, Narcissa made a deal with Respira to trade Stealth's freedom for the unborn foal in her womb. Respira agreed to the deal.

ninth year

Respira gave birth to her child by Incognito shortly after her own birthday. The child was a filly, a chestnut sabino. Respira felt no hatred toward the child and named her Sinclaire. Only a few days later, Incognito arrived once more, demanding the child that Respira had given birth to. Respira refused to give Sinclaire up without a fight and Incognito eventually gave up and left.

Respira raised Sinclaire for several months, treating her like any of her other children, but not declining to tell her who her father was. Respira did not bother to hide it from Sinclaire that her father was not Castle, though he might as well have been considering how involved he was in raising her. Sinclaire's half siblings also treated her very well. During this time she was challenged for the freedom of Emrys by a mare named Fawn. She met the mare in the Battlegrounds and laughed when she saw her opponent was a mere thirteen hands. However, the smaller mare dealt significant damage to the Helkaer mare and left Respira with a scar on her underbelly. Respira walked away victorious and was eager to see the minx again afterward, but Fawn never showed her face again.

It was when Sinclaire was approaching her first year of age that Respira discovered herself pregnant again by Castle. However, her mate was away on a mission assigned to him by Romeo.

tenth year

Castle's absence started to span several months and Respira grew more and more worried that the mission had ended in his death. However, she did find him one day wandering his lands. He was badly beaten, attacked in the Free lands by an unknown assailant. He only just managed to drag himself back to Castlereagh. Respira tended to him and helped him heal and told him that they were expecting another child. The two of them tried to figure out who had done this to him and sent out many of their resources to track down the culprit.

Respira was then called to a Helkaer meeting to discuss what was to be done about the Dark Royals and they all agreed that action and violence must be taken. They decide to plan a raid on the Dark Royal and carefully plan out their moves, deciding to do it within the next month. It was within this timeframe that Respira finally discovered the identity of the one who attacked Castle. It was a stallion named Linkin Park, one of her many cousins. She tracks down where he lives and attacks him, though his mate, Lady Katherin intervenes in their meeting. Pregnant and not willing to compromise the safety of her child by fighting two equines at once, Respira decides to back down, though not without a promise - Linkin and Katherine will be forced to chose a side in the upcoming Helkaer and Dark Royal war.

The day finally comes when the Helkaer make their raid. Both The Surgeon and Disneyland Acid Trip, both newer members of the Brotherhood and therefore not as well known, infiltrate the lands posing as victims of the Helkaer while the rest of the Helkaer take positions in Lachlan Breck. They slowly corner the herd together and attack all at once. Romeo lunges for Incognito's throat and Gehenna takes the blow instead, dying in front of them while The Surgeon, being a cannibal, consumes her corpse. Respira then takes her turn, lunging for the Dark King's throat. His daughter, Emmaline, steps in instead, taking the death blow and dying in front of her father. The Helkaer relent, noting that the majority of the herd members are scattered, injured, or dead, and the Helkaer take their leave, believing they have left their mark upon the Dark Royals for years to come.

A couple of weeks later, Respira meets a mare named Enmity in the Free lands and invites her to Toxin Raj. The perpetually angry mare shows up to Toxin Raj and pledges her loyalty to Respira and Respira tells her that if she can prove herself, Respira will grant her the Second in Command position, as so far neither Serpent nor Minaethiel succeeded at it and both disappeared very quickly.

Shortly afterward, Respira gives birth to her child, this time a son that she names Corvo. He is born in the middle of the night and with Castle by her side.

eleventh year

Respira then steals Regal, a stallion from the Neutral Royals. The stallion is very unhappy with this and is quickly stolen back by Jedi's Return, though Respira does not deem him valuable enough to warrant a challenge. She then attends a Helkaer meeting to discuss the aftermath of the war with the Dark Royals and their future plans for Wild Equines, though nothing is set in stone. Enmity makes two successful steals of her own during this time and Respira is very pleased with her. Both Caramel and Rozene are enslaved in the slave cells of Toxin Raj. Respira is then attempted to be stolen by a mare named Widowmaker, though she is blocked the challenged proposed for her freedom is also dropped. The mare then gives Respira her daughter, Mayhem, as a debt.

Respira steals another member of Predator's family, this time his son Leander. Respira also meets a mare named Decarabia and enslaves her for her trespassing and disrespect. She then trades Decarabia to The Pumpkin King, a new Helkaer member, in exchange for his slave, Ramona. Enmity is then stolen by Jedi's Return and Respira makes a deal with the Light pest to trade Ramona for Enmity's freedom. Disneyland Acid Trip, then a member of the Helkaer for well over a year, decides to pay Respira a one-on-one visit. He is a well-voiced enemy of Castle's and berates Respira for taking him as a mate while trying to charm her with his looks. Respira spits insults at him and eventually demands he leave.

Respira is then stolen herself by Predator, who demands his son back in exchange for her freedom. She agrees and their meeting is brief, but tense, and Respira doesn't intend on stopping her torment of him. One of Respira's slaves, Kumana, is then challenged for by a stallion called Nephilim Rising. She meets the stallion in the Battlegrounds and sustains injuries in her right shoulder and right leg. However, she is victorious in the battle. She then appoints Enmity as her second in Command, having been impressed by her ambitions. It is then that two stallions, Allegro and Danse Macabre, attempt to make deals with Respira regarding her slaves. Allegro demands for Rozene and Suri Keeya's freedom while Danse Macabre talks about Caramel's. However, neither deal works out and none of her slaves are freed from these attempts. Enmity brings back a mare named Blackheart to the herd, who becomes a member for a brief while before disappearing.

Respira steals three more horses, Macy, Gino and Lucas. However, Macy is more upset with the steal than any of Respira's other steals and presents the Helkaer mare with a declaration of war. However, Native Dancer and the rest of the peacemaking group, the Vigilum, interfere and shut down the war before it could even start, persuading Respira to not have her herd members injured in the fight. She and Gino speak in Toxin Raj and eventually, Serenity, a new member of the Helkaer, comes to Toxin Raj for Gino's release. Respira releases him as a favor to her new Helkaer sister. Respira is stolen by a Versai stallion named Erathel, who demands information from her. He beats her around a little but eventually gets nothing from her and she is allowed to return home. She then meets with Vanth, the Lord of the Underworld, and Toxic, another new member of the Helkaer. She meets with a foal named Nyx that Enmity finds and adopts it into her herd. Respira then meets Kida and Kalani in the Free lands while searching for her daughter, Lanathia, who had been away from home for a long time without communicating. She realizes the two are members of the Dark Royal lands, Lachlan Breck. She demands to know if they have captured her and threaten the pair of them to give her answers. They seem bewildered but promise to help her find Lanathia, if they can. Respira decides to trust them, considering their naive, innocent natures.

twelfth year

Carnevale Letale then declares war on the Dark Royals, wanting to separate from them. They then declare war on the Helkaer as well as the Versai. Romeo is stolen by the herd. Romeo's freedom is fought for and won by Xalias, a member of the Dark Royals, who demands the Helkaer ally with the Dark Royals in the war as payment for the battle. Romeo is forced to agree, as are the rest of the Helkaer. Respira is disgusted by the alliance. Respira is then stolen by Snake Eyes, and she goes to Ward XIII to see what her former ally wants. She is held in Ward XIII for nearly a week before Enmity trades a foal for her freedom. She is roughed up a bit by one of the guards, but sustains no serious injuries. She returns back to Toxin Raj, only to find out that Sly has been stolen by Zephyr. Enraged, she waits until she is fully healed before going over to confront him. In the meantime, she is visited by Disneyland Acid Trip who informs her that he is now a prisoner of Ward XIII and the two discuss details about their plan of attack.

She steals two more horses, Reciso, a member of Zephyr's herd, and Zana's Rose, of Carnevale Letale. She is then stolen again by Zephyr himself, but released shortly afterward. She then discovers that she's pregnant again with Castle's child and meets with Castle to discuss their relationship. The two have been very distant lately and she's not sure if it's her fault because she is so busy with Helkaer affairs. She meets with Gino again, who is being held under the Dark Royal lands, and the two discuss relationship problems, of all things. She holds a meeting for the Helkaer to discuss their tactics in the war now that two of their members are stolen. During this time, she and Incognito are bewitched by a love spell courtesy of the Afterlife leaders and are hexxed into believing they are lovers. The spell wears off after several hours and Incognito spits at her while she lunges for his throat. Horses in the Free lands manage to split them up before a fight happens. Respira is then visited by Akroma, who tells her that her assistance is needed in the war. Respira reluctantly travels to the Battlegrounds, where she joins the group of Dark Royal allies confronting Akroma's opponent in battle - Vanth, the Lord of the Underworld himself. The battle is abruptly ended. Respira meets with Baron shortly afterward, to meet one of her allies in the war and also discuss the possible treaty being put in place. The meeting she has with Baron is the closest she comes to with cheating on Castle, wondering her mate cares for her at all anymore, as she feels herself slowly drifting away from him. Because of the confrontation of the battle, Incognito does meet with Diavolo and the two come up with a compromise. Carnevale Letale separates from the Dark Royals and the war is over. Respira immediately severs all relations with the Dark Royals in disgust after she hears that the war is over.

Now that the war is over, Respira has her soul stolen by Vanth, and goes to confront him in Eden about what this means for her. He explains to her that her soul belongs to the Underworld now. Collateral Damage leaves Toxin Raj to go to Krieg Partei, and Respira visits her Helkaer brother, Toxic, to see how she's getting on. On the way out from their meeting, the pair of them run into Miriam, a mare who seems to have an intense dislike for Respira. A week or so later, Respira gives birth to Nightingale during a night and Castle is there to witness the birth of their fifth child, a filly they dub Nightingale. Respira then steals Lexi, the Light Royal Queen. She is visited afterward by Aranu, the Light Royal King to discuss a possible trade. During their meeting an angel named Fennore interrupts and tells Respira that he owns her soul. After a bit of back and forth during negotations, Fennore agrees to give Respira's soul back in exchange for Lexi's freedom. Shortly afterward, she meets with the rest of the Helkaer when Romeo summons them to a meeting. At this meeting they discuss tactics and strategies. Respira suggests they do away with secret names and the rest of the Helkaer agree, therefore banishing her secret name, Yvette. She meets a mare named Nyara in the Free lands and brings her to Toxin Raj as a herd member. She also meets a mare named Keysi and her son Smoke Thief. During their meeting, she encounters her aunt, Anesthesia, who is now a demon of the Underworld. She steals two more horses then, Nymphadora from the Light territories and Hiccup from the Dark Royal herd. Nitocris, Nymphadora's mother, comes to negotiate for her daughter's freedom and they settle for a tax upon Nitocris' lands of Sunset Everglades. Respira is enraged to see Incognito trespassing in Toxin Raj, but realizes that it's her daughter bringing her father there so the two of them can talk and try to work out their differences. When she is confronting Incognito, Hiccup also makes an entrance into their meeting as well as Akroma, the Dark Queen. Terrified for her mother, Sinclaire calls out for Atreyu and the Guard shows up to stand at Respira's side. Respira and Incognito have a heated debate over their child and eventually agree to disagree because their personal and political enmity cannot be solved. Death Chant then makes an appearance in Toxin Raj and her parents are overjoyed to see her. She tells them that she's come home. Respira calls a herd meeting for Toxin Raj to discuss the things brought up in the Helkaer meeting and for a rank rearrangement. The Helkaer then hears of her old herd member, Collateral Damage giving birth and ventures to Kreig Partei to see the newborn children. On her way there she meets The Viper, who is Toxic's new mate and Queen. The three exchange some words before Respira meets with Colla. After a few hours entertaining the children, Respira leaves.

Respira then goes to see Disneyland Acid Trip and encounters him with another stallion named Alistair. Alistair has been seeking out information for the ones responsible for beating up his mate and adoptive son. Respira knows nothing about it, and tells him so. During the night, Respira receives disturbing news about Romeo, from none other than his own daughter, Fahrenheit. The vixen gloats over her father's death and declares herself above the Helkaer and formally presents herself as an enemy to the Brotherhood. She leaves before Respira can pursue her and the Helkaer mare goes to find the spot of Romeo's death, where she confirms that it was him. In a state of rage, she calls the Brotherhood to arms and announces Romeo's fate to the Brotherhood. She is made Commander of the Helkaer and elects a new member to the band - a mare named Cara who is the daughter of Disneyland Acid Trip and half sister to Killswitch. Respira then steals a member of Charlamagne's herd called Ambriodhe. The mare arrives furiously and is there for a couple of days before Charlamagne shows up to retrieve her. The two agree on a tax on Charlamagne's lands in return for Ambriodhe's freedom. However, Charlamagne loses his lands shortly afterward, to Respira's annoyance. Respira then goes to visit Macy in her lands to see how her old enemy is, but is confronted by her daughter, Thundra instead, along with Macy's young twins, Sinne and Mathuîn. She is then visited by a Light extremist stallion named Underoath who introduces himself as a Dark and congratulates her on her new position as Commander of the Helkaer. She and Castle then end their relationship and Castle leaves. Respira is unsure how to feel and is mostly angry and in a despair at his departure. A few weeks later she discovers that she's pregnant again and raising another child alone. Enmity then is murdered by an unknown assailant and Respira is enraged at her death, but does not find any clues on who murdered her. She takes it upon herself to raise Enmity's young daughter, Evereve. She travels often to the Free lands and other lands, gathering information and keeping herself occupied. On one of her ventures she encounters one of the newer Versai recruits, Kynneta. She then goes to visit Rosemonde and Nilflheim, to see what Aurora is made of and where Snake Eyes, a former Helkaer, stand on the Helkaer versus Darks issue. However, instead of Snake Eyes, Respira encounters Katana, who says she is an ally of the Brotherhood. Shortly afterward however, Katana loses the lands to a stallion named Ephraim.

thirteenth year

Respira congratulates Zana's Rose on her victory at the Gladiator Tournament and her new title as Champion. Respira then goes to visit the Versai leader, Eos (Aurora) and she and Aurora exchange a few words, a few idle threats, and a few promises before Respira leaves, content on her information. Respira is visited by Romeo, who is now the Lord of the Underworld. The two of them agree to remain allies, even in death. She meets the newest member of the Helkaer order in her lands, Chainsaw. She starts developing feelings for Atreyu. She meets Aria in the Helkaer Free lands and the two discuss Aria's new position in the Helkaer. She then attends the Wild Equines Ball, where she meets the new Dark King, Grizmar and is made aware of Baron's return. She meets Jazmin, her half-sister. She also meets Aislinn, daughter of Toxic and Crux, a former Versai mare.

Respira then gives birth to her child, which turns out to be children. Two girls, whom she eventually names Delilah and Caskett. During the birth, Sly visits her and the two of them have a rather deep discussion about family and relationships. Sly is then stolen by a stallion called Durg and Respira goes to confront him, enraged that he has stolen a member of her herd. Durg gives Sly back after Respira threatens to set his lands on fire. She is then stolen herself by Trinity, a Versai mare. Their encounter quickly turns into a different kind of meeting when Trinity starts flirting with her and Respira flirts right back. Respira is then visited by Zaria, who reveals herself to be the daughter of Eos, the Versai Commander. Respira decides to keep Zaria in Toxin Raj and raise and train her for a while before revealing her to the world and to Eos. Respira then confronts Alur, a colt who has wandered his way onto her lands. She is then unexpectedly visited by the Dark King, Grizmar, who gives her a sort of ultimatum and threatens her before backing off and leaving without a word.

Respira then meets with a demon named Tsul in Pahaendaline to discuss Romeo's sudden departure from his position. The demon reveals to her that he is the father of Durg and wants to make his son's life as hellish as possible. Respira then meets with Milton, a former Helkaer member who has made his way back into the order through Chainsaw. The new Helkaer Commander then holds a Helkaer meeting for the members to discuss their plans of alliance gathering and also to confront them about their incredible inactivity in Wild Equines. During the meeting, Respira dismisses Chainsaw and he later loses his position in the order and Respira holds auditions for new members. She decides to elect Duncan into the Helkaer order as the newest member and takes on Vulcan as an apprentice, as he auditioned for Helkaer as well. Respira meets several members of the Versai in the Free lands, including Kynneta and Daenerys, and Olwyn, another new member of the Vigilum. She also meets Renegade, the son of Toxic. She also runs into a familiar and unwelcome face - Incognito, who has lost the crown of Dark King.

Respira is then visited by several members of the Afterlife, including Rasa, the Lady of Utopia, Artemisia, the Lady of the Underworld, and Liberius, a demon. All three meetings seem to end favorably, even the meeting with the Utopian Queen. Her meeting with Artemisia strengthens the alliance between the Helkaer and the Underworld. She confronts a mare named Persephone, who enters her lands without permission and is given a vow of loyalty, though said loyalty does not last long when the mare disappears shortly afterward. She then meets with Zana's son, Link, during a bout of insomnia and something rather unexpected happens. After this, Respira is informed of another position change within the Helkaer when Toxic notifies her that he is retiring and putting his daughter and heir, Heroin, in his place. Respira is surprised to hear of his retirement, but agrees to having Heroin take the position. Unfortunately, during this time, Disneyland Acid Trip is officially declared missing as Respira has not heard from him in some time and came up empty while searching his lands. She decides to elect her apprentice, Vulcan, in his place, as he has completed his training and was approved. However, the Brotherhood continues to be unstable when Heroin then resigns from her position after only a few weeks, making Respira scramble again to hold auditions. This time, she's greeted by a familiar face and decides to elect her into the new Helkaer position - Sly, the long-time member of Toxin Raj and one of Respira's closest friends.

fourteenth year

With the Helkaer settled for the time being, Respira decides to go and visit the Dark lands once more, this time picking out Amdusias Isles, home to The Surgeon and Casavir. At one of the last Helkaer meetings, she was told The Surgeon had wanted to meet with her personally and so she decided to go and visit him. She meets with both leads and The Surgeon notifies her of his crime against the crown - the crime of raping Akroma, the Dark Queen herself. Frustrated with the instability of the Helkaer, Respira travels to Kunipar Cliff where she inexplicably meets Rhaegar, the Lord of Hell. Their meeting goes very well as Rhaegar expresses sympathy and the desire for Respira to succeed as Helkaer Commander. She also meets Jedi's Return again while on her travels - though he now goes by Luke Skywalker.

After this, Respira is visited by an old enemy of the Helkaer, Fahrenheit, who murdered her father Romeo and bragged to Respira about it afterward. The two of them share heated words before getting into a physical fight and Respira leaves her with severe burns over her body thanks to her powers of fire from the Underworld. A couple of days afterward, Respira goes to visit Sly in her new Helkaer territory of Oinaze and Sly present her with her daughter, Siavash, a cambion - a daughter of a demon.

fifteenth year

Respira then attends a meeting held by Diavolo himself for mortals, though the meeting does not go very well. In addition to this, she meets a stallion in the Free lands named Selven, who intrigues her. She tells him about the Helkaer in their meeting. Shortly afterward, Respira kicks Aria out of the Brotherhood for her lack of commitment and once again holds auditions. Curiously enough, Selven shows up to audition and he is chosen as the newest member of the Brotherhood. Respira holds another meeting for them all to get acquainted with each other. Selven proves himself quickly by stealing the Versai leader. Respira meets again with Toxic's son, Renegade. It is at this time that the Dark King, Grizmar, steals Respira from Toxin Raj. In retaliation, the Helkaer steal Akroma from Grizmar. Respira goes to Lachlan Breck while Akroma goes to the Helkaer lands. A battle ensues between Sly and Grizmar for both of their freedoms - if Grizmar wins, Akroma goes home and Respira stays, and if Sly wins, Respira goes home and Akroma stays. To Respira's great pride, Sly wins the battle and Respira returns home to the Outlands. However, Grizmar demands that he take Akroma's place and the Helkaer agree to it. Grizmar is deemed the Helkaer's prisoner and passed around between the lands as a punching bag. Respira is then visited by Raen, a member of the Vigilum, Romeo's daughter, and a former resident of Phantasmagoria. The two of them predictably get into a heated argument before Respira attacks Raen for her insolence. Unfortunately, it is also during this time that Selven's activity falls short and Respira is forced to kick him out as well after only a couple of months, choosing Mathias Blackwell to take his place as the runner up in the auditions. Respira is then visited by a Versai mare named Lilith in Toxin Raj. Zana then tells Respira that she has joined the Vigilum and is going to leave. Respira feels shocked and betrayed by this and tells Zana she has to leave because the Helkaer Commander cannot harbor a member of the Vigilum. Zana leaves.

Shortly after the Helkaer's victory in the battle however, Respira's daughter, Delilah, is stolen by Akroma. Enraged, Respira goes to confront the Queen, but receives no response from her and learns that Delilah is being kept in the Whorehouse owned by Carnallust the Charmer, a noted rapist and master of torture. Respira had just finished the fifth month of Delilah's training. Worried sick over her daughter, Respira pushes things on schedule in order to make time and organize an effort to leverage or rescue her. It is during this time that Mathias grows inactive and Respira throws him out of the Brotherhood, seething at another lost member. Disgusted, frustrated, and worried sick over her daughter, Respira holds off on auditions for a few weeks. Respira meets Aislinn once more in the Helkaer Free lands during this time, along with Trinity.

sixteenth year

Respira then meets Rhaegar again in Toxin Raj. She also meets a filly named Ambrosia, who says she is Romeo's cambion daughter. She also steals two more horses, Lullaby from Kaname, and Kimber from R0man Num3ral5. Both of them make prompt appearances. A rescue attempt is organized for Delilah, but never made it through due to the rescuers chickening out. Respira murders the organizer of the rescue team for this failure and shortly afterward is visited by Grizmar announcing his wish to challenge her for his freedom. However, before this challenge can be formally issued, she's greeted by Carnallust the Charmer himself, escorting Delilah home and telling Respira that Akroma has disappeared, therefore the steal is no longer important to him. It is rather obvious that Delilah went through a fair amount of trauma while in captivity for five months.

With Akroma having vanished, Respira decides to condemn Grizmar to death. However, before the order is given throughout the Brotherhood, Diavolo comes to Toxin Raj to check up on her. During their meeting, Respira is made aware of Vanth among the Brotherhood and agrees to take him into her herd as a captive. Just as promised, after the meeting, Vanth shows up in Toxin Raj to present himself to her. In addition to him showing up is also a stallion named Labac, looking to make a deal with her with trained equines and a potential whorehouse - like his father Johannes Cabal - who Respira met years ago. Their meeting ends in lust and passion.

After getting everything else in order, Respira gives the order for Grizmar's fate and Respira and the other Helkaer beat him to death. Steely and cold after the beating and the trauma of her daughter, Respira decides then and there to finally hold Helkaer auditions. She is approached by four candidates, Hades, Dr. Burke, Salem, and Moriarty. She sets up meetings with each of them, two days apart. Moriarty is the only one who doesn't show. She decides then to chose Hades as the next member of the Brotherhood. She is then greeted rudely by Ayyad, the daughter of one of her old herd members, Nyara. Ayyad demands to be a part of Respira's herd and Respira refuses, telling the girl to leave because of her disrespect. Ayyad leaves. Deciding wholeheartedly to march on Lachlan Breck, Respira asks Delilah to come along with them and take her revenge, but Delilah refuses and mother and daughter get into a huge fight, Delilah confronting her mother about the fact that her job is more important than her own children. Unable to defend herself from such a true accusation, Respira resorts to ignoring Delilah even more instead. With Hades chosen, Respira leaves Delilah behind and takes the Brotherhood to march on Lachlan Breck.

They burn everything in their path and round up the herd members under guard so they are unable to leave or fight back. The Helkaer scope out the lands for secrets, but do not find much of anything. Respira then calls a brief meeting to tell them to prepare for a counter attack and to keep a close eye on the hostages. However, in the middle of their meeting they are met with the resistance, lead by Charisa, a mare unknown to Respira, and Xerxes, the half-brother of Salem, an auditioner for the Helkaer, and the son of Artemisia and Grizmar. Charisa and Xerxes have brought a fighting force of their own, and Xerxes' half-brother Bakugrah is also there and makes an attempt to kill Respira before being dispatched by Sly. The two groups get into a vicious fight and during the struggle, Duncan is dealt a fatal blow and dies in Lachlan Breck territory. Duncan is not the only one to die in the deadly conflict, with several other followers from both sides perishing in the conflict. However, the odds tip against the Helkaer, especially with the loss of Duncan and Respira announces a retreat, with all of the Helkaer and their followers managing to escape. Shortly afterward, Xerxes and Charisa announce their ascension to the throne.

Respira and the other Helkaer bury Duncan in Kali, the final resting place of the Helkaer and pay their respects. Respira gathers up any herd members Duncan had and discovers only one - Karei - who was a slave in Duncan's land. Surprised that Duncan would keep a slave, she takes her back to Toxin Raj where a stallion named Creed asks to pick her up. Deciding the mare has been through enough as a slave and generally not caring about her, she lets Karei go with Creed. Afterward, Respira attempts to reconcile with Delilah, but makes no progress and is even blamed for the death of Duncan. Fearing their relationship is beyond repair at this point, Respira resorts to searching for another apprentice instead, doubling her efforts as she realizes that Hades has completely disappeared after the takedown of Grizmar. Furious at his disappearance, she refuses to hold any auditions until another apprentice is selected. She meets with a mare named Jerusalem in the Free lands. Lostprophet also shows up in Toxin Raj - an old member of the Brotherhood looking for work to do. Shortly afterward, she is forced to kick Salem out of the Helkaer for disappearing, an event which sends her anger spiraling out of control as she questions whether to stay with the Helkaer when they have given her so much instability and disloyalty. In one of her travels to the Free lands she meets Onathe, a mare she takes as her apprentice. In the face of confusion and anger, Respira decides to visit Zana's Rose in Mount Vigilum - a risky move that she decides is worth it. She and Zana meet and Zana tells her of her rape and pregnancy.

Growing more impatient and wanting to continue the momentum of their attack on the Dark Royals, she sends messages to both Sly and Vulcan that she is attacking the Neutral Royals next and they are welcome to join her if they want to - otherwise, she will do this alone. They set fire to the Neutral Royal lands and threaten Cathair, who is only the Neutral Royal on the throne with Divine stepping down. Respira is joined by both Sly and Vulcan - the only two members left of the Brotherhood. Cathair faces against them with a herd member named Jindalee.

After their attack, Respira meets one of the newer Vigilum mares - Avalon, a former Light Queen. She is also enraged to find out that Salem has taken up residence under Lachlan Breck with his half-brother. After Xerxes steals Vulcan and Charisa steals Toxic, the Helkaer retaliate by stealing Charisa and Respira personally steals Salem to teach him a lesson. Salem shows up, in addition to his Queen, Adolphine, as well as the Devil himself, Diavolo. Respira is then visited by the demon Tsul once more.

seventeenth year

Respira meets with Lostprophet once more to discuss a rank change to Second in Command, a position that has been empty for quite some time. Respira meets Aislinn, who tells her that she intends to bear children sired by a demon for the Helkaer to use in a cambion army. Respira tells Aislinn to name one of her children named Yvette, after her old codename. Sly then comes to Toxin Raj to tell Respira that she's frustrated at Respira's never-ending dissatisfaction with the Helkaer. Respira tells her friend that she has been thinking of leaving the Brotherhood and Sly is appalled. Respira asks Sly what she can do to change, but Respira is offended by her opinions and the two briefly getting into a fight before Sly takes her leave. A few hours afterward, Respira goes to Oinaze to try to sort things out with Sly. Respira meets with the Dark Royals, Underworld leaders, and the other Helkaer to discuss an alliance. Respira does not want to ally with the Dark Royals, but is forced into it by the Underworld, who threaten her if the two factions cannot come together. Respira is forced to agree to the alliance, much to her incredible frustration. The Neutral Royals declare war on the Helkaer after Sly's stealing of three mainland leaders and Vulcan stealing Jocasta from the Royal herd. Respira meets Toxic to discuss the war. Respira calls a meeting between the Brotherhood and then holds auditions for a new member, finally. Respira attends the free land meeting three months pregnant and is accompanied by Zana as they try to figure out what's going on. The two of them have a run-in with Crux and a heated moment where Respira finds that she's slowly falling for the Arabian mare. However, feelings are pushed to the side as an earthquake, extreme gusts of wind, lightning strikes, and fire all rock the lands. The group becomes split in two and Respira, Zana, and Vesuvius are stuck in the lands of Mount Malvolia - a currently active volcano. When Respira returns after her ordeal in the Free lands, she decides to interview some new Helkaer candidates. She chooses a mare named Sailcat. She instructs the mare to keep a low profile during the war when the Neutral kingdom thinks they are a member short. However, shortly afterward, she and Vulcan are auto stolen by the Neutral Royals. She tells Sailcat to meet with Sly. Sly retaliates by stealing Caiomhe and Alistair to get back at both Cathair and Kalila. Respira goes to confront Kalila and immediately takes her to the Battlegrounds to challenge for her freedom. She ends up winning the battle against Kalila, but sustains serious injuries, including a deep wound to her neck. She and Kalila both travel to Mount Vigilum for assistance. Respira calls for Zana's help and the mare comes to help the both of them heal.

Respira returns to Toxin Raj, injured and spends several days resting and healing. However, during this time she has no shortage of work to do. Vulcan disappears then and because of his frequent disappearances, especially during a war, Respira removes him from his Helkaer position. Anger toward the Brotherhood has started to turn to apathy for Respira, despite the fact that Vulcan's dismissal means that the Brotherhood is now made up of solely mares - a goal Respira always wanted to obtain. She then receives word that a stallion named Apophis is interested in becoming an apprentice to the Helkaer. She agrees to meet him and they meet five days after her visit from Zana. Not long after that, she also receives a visit from the Dark Queen, Charisa. A week afteward, Respira meets with Nemesis, daughter of Aislinn and Baelrune, who tells her that she is going to leave to live in Oinaze with Sly. Only days after that, she is visited by a heavily pregnant mare named Yarrah and her companion, a stallion named Jack the Ripper. Yarrah is looking for Respira's son, Corvo. Another week and a half goes by and Respira is visited by Lyulf, son of Aria and Vulcan, who wants to become a Helkaer apprentice. One week later, she travels to Crystal Pools where she encounters Allocen once more while she is being attacked by two stallions. Respira does not hesitate in helping the Versai mare. A few days later, she steals a stallion named Jaerecuz from Tremala Woods, in the hopes of restarting the war with the Neutral Royals and shutting down her apathetic feelings toward the Brotherhood. Jaerecuz arrives a day later. Respira then meets with Romeo once more. Respira then removes Lostprophet from Second in Command after he disappears. Respira meets with Coreion in Pahaendaline. Afterward, Respira decides enough is enough and orders the Helkaer to perform raids on various Neutral lands until the Neutral Royals surrender. Respira takes Atreyu and Apophis with her and launches an attack on Cooper Creek, lead by Thundra, a mare she has a personal grudge with. She sends a prayer to the Underworld and lights Cooper Creek on fire. She is greeted by Thundra, Marangya, Nicotine, and Macy. She challenges Thundra to a battle, but Thundra refuses and prays to Spike, the Lord of Utopia. Spike shows up and puts out the fire, but Respira counter attacks by calling upon Romeo, now Lord of the Underworld. Romeo loses the battle and Cooper Creek is saved from burning down completely. Respira, Atreyu, and Apophis leave Cooper Creek.

After the raid is finished, Respira returns home to Toxin Raj and is greeted by Zana. The Vigilum mare interrogates Respira about the war and what she hopes to accomplish by it. A few days afterward, Divine steals Atreyu from Toxin Raj. Respira then steals Callula from Shadow Canyon, the sister of Cathair, and the Helkaer steal Aurora, Versai Commander. Respira holds them prisoner in Toxin Raj. Respira meets with Chaos, the newly appointed Neutral Queen. Respira challenges Divine for possession of Atreyu, but it doesn't progress the way that she expects it to. Respira steals Barristan from Laken and now has four prisoners from the Neutral sides and its allies. Respira gathers allies of the Helkaer in Toxin Raj to launch their final assault, and is greeted, along with Sly, by Rousselet and Pagan, representatives of Amdusias Isles. They all march to the Battlegrounds to meet with their opponents from the Neutral Kingdom. The two sides face each other and start a full-on assault on each other. Respira ends up facing against Trinity/Allocen, much to her amusement. She wins the battle against the Versai mare. The rest of the battles go well and the Helkaer win the war against the Neutral Kingdom. Respira returns home to Toxin Raj afterward to notify her herd of their win and to set up guards for Toxin Raj and decide who is coming with to the occupation. While she's there, she greeted by a newcomer named Camaris. Afterward, Respira, Sly, and Sailcat march to Tremala Woods and confront Chaos and Divine.

A few days after the Helkaer confront the two Neutral leaders, Respira meets up with Sailcat and they discuss taxes on the Neutral lands. While in Tremala Woods, Respira runs into Divine once more. Two days later, she goes to confront Reth and Dark Woods, her old home. Five days after that, Respira wakes up in Toxin Raj to familiar labor pains and gives birth in the early hours of the morning to her last child, a son she names Cahethal. Apophis, Atreyu, and Aaradhya meet with her shortly after the birth. Two days afterward, she meets with Virunas in Tremala Woods, alongside Sly, Chaos, and Sailcat. Two days after that, she holds a Helkaer meeting to discuss alliances and Tremala Woods. The Helkaer end their occupation of Tremala Woods. Respira meets The Beldame while training in the Caerali Desert. She is greeted unexpectedly by Zana a few days afterward, who tells her that her grandson, Casimiro, is a member of the Vigilum, and that his mother, Lanathia, was murdered by Underoath. A few days after that, she is visited by a deceased Nyara, one of her old friends and herd members. When Cahethal is one month old, Respira goes to visit Zana to see if now is the right time to seek out her attacker. Zana agrees to capture him. Respira goes to visit Lady Grey to ask about her alliance with the Helkaer and about Zana's attacker, Catalyst. Lady Grey agres to do Respira this favor and sends Catalyst to Toxin Raj. Respira enslaves him in the cells in Toxin Raj. She then goes to tell Zana that she has Catalyst. She returns to Toxin Raj and starts beating up Catalyst while waiting for Zana to arrive. Respira then receives a visit from Sly, who wants to discuss Disneyland Acid Trip. Their discussion ends abruptly when Sly lashes out at Respira for reasons the Commander doesn't understand. She meets Missandei and the two of them spend the night together. Respira invites the mare to stay in Toxin Raj, but is disappointed when she finds her gone in the morning. She meets Hakkon, who is looking for Apophis. She meets Warfarin. She appoints Pestilence as the newest member of the Helkaer. She and the rest of the Helkaer are then summoned by the Lady of Utopia, Rasa, for a meeting. Rasa threatens the Helkaer and demands they apologize to the Neutral Kingdom. However, before the Helkaer can respond, they're interrupted by the arrival of Lady Grey and Artarius, the new Lord of the Underworld. She is greeted by Baphomet, the demon guardian of Toxin Raj.

She and the other Helkaer - lead by Sly - go to confront the Underworld about their alliance as Baelrune steals a soul from one of Sailcat's cambions. Respira is then summoned to the Free lands by a mysterious feeling. There, she is confronted not only by a terrible storm revealing a mudslide, but also members of the Versai and Vigilum, along with the rest of the Helkaer. She greets both Zana and Casimiro, her grandson. From this, she and the other Helkaer members follow a mysterious river that leads them to a pool. It is here that it's revealed that the Helkaer's powers are not granted by the Afterlife, but by a higher power. Respira is both startled and relieved at this revelation - because it means that the Underworld is no longer a necessary alliance for the Helkaer - if things should come to that. A few weeks later, Apophis informs Respira that he is leaving his apprenticeship to go and spend time with Sailcat. Lyulf also loses his apprenticeship. Only days later, Pestilence loses his position in the Helkaer due to his inactivity. Respira is unsurprised at this point. She is taking a walk with Cahethal when the two of them meet Death Chant, returned to Toxin Raj after several years. Respira then holds auditions for Helkaer. She choses Fenrir as the newest member of the Brotherhood and invites the stallion to Toxin Raj to meet with the Brotherhood. From there, they go to the Helkaer Ruins to discuss their next steps and travel to the River of Discord so Fenrir can receive his Helkaer brand. Respira travels to the Free land of Mount Malvolia to contemplate life. There, she meets a stallion named Jigsaw.

eighteenth year

Only a few days later, Sailcat departs from the Brotherhood. In the meantime, she is visited by Sephora, who tells Respira that she is the new Dark Queen and that Akroma has been murdered. Respira holds auditions for the Helkaer and elects another newcomer named Godbrand to the Brotherhood. She and Godbrand have a one-on-one meeting before the Helkaer depart for the branding ceremony. She and Sly then have another one-on-one conversation about Sailcat's departure. She then runs into Missandei again in the Free land of Femiet Beach where she discovers the mare has had a child. During the night, she is visited by a mare named Tallulah, who has questions about the war with the Neutral Kingdom. Fenrir then loses his position in the Helkaer. She meets with Crywulf, who tells her about the situation in the Underworld. Not long after, she is visited by the Lady of the Underworld herself, the newly crowned Akroma. Sly tells Respira that she was attacked and raped by Zephyr. Respira goes to speak with Allocen about the real reason why her home burned down. Allocen agrees with the Helkaer's plan to attack the Dark Royals. Respira appoints Undead Legion as the newest member of the Helkaer. They hold a meeting in the Ruins to discuss their plans of attack on Lachlan Breck. Respira holds an audition for the Helkaer apprentice position. Two show up - Dragon and Sage. Respira chooses Sage to be the apprentice and begins to train her in Toxin Raj.
