Part of a farm animal themed set, where every animal had a unique fruit or vegetable themed pattern. They were often given out as prizes at county fairs. Named after the Cortland, a cultivar of apple, which happens to be the 15th most popular apple in the United States and Canada. Cortland has an apple themed pattern, and a crisp apple scent.
