♦ Rafael's Links
They are cousins, and have been fairly close to one another. He remembers fondly of their time together, and as a child he'd always looked forward to meeting the older boy again. He'd tell Augustine his troubles, he'd show Augustine the magic tricks he'd been practicing - and in return, he'd give him advice, tell him not to worry, share laughs together... He admires how nice and supportive he is, the butler's attitude in approaching people and help, as well as the ability to remain calm and collected even under stress. He wants to learn how to be just as genuine as his cousin. To him, August is almost like an older brother, and an inspiration.
They are cousins, and have been fairly close to one another. Augustine sees Rafael as a quiet and kind individual who doesn't talk much, but is capable of doing great things. He appreciates Rafael's ability to think quickly, and finds his skills as a magician very impressive. August had looked after the boy like his own little brother - he needed guidance, and Augustine is determined to help him.
"...Rafael is our cousin. Mannerly, resourceful, and charismatic in his own right - a bright individual with a lot of potential. If not for... ... ...Ah, pardon me."
"September is a cousin of mine! She is... slightly difficult to talk with at times, but I can tell that she means well. The past is the past, and I can vouch for how much her attitude has changed over the years. Please, do not think badly of her."
[Cousins. He hasn't heard much about the other boy...]
[Cousins. His mother is Rafael's aunt (one of many).]
[Second-cousins-in-law? Is that how this works? Thanks to Tracey's uncle marrying Rafael's aunt, we've come full circle.]
"A fellow magician, with an exemplary sense of style and charisma! A man after my own heart, in a way! Perhaps if we come across a green-themed magician, we can form a Christmas magician trio! Or a blue-themed one to create the primary colours!"
