Yarrow (Splatoon)

As a student of the Octo Samurai, he's having a hard time adjusting to the carefree lifestyle of Inkopolis. His days are spent trying to get through high school with his friends Quill, Jijo, and Beetle. Or spent turfing and training with said friends and his family; Clover, Moss, Pine, and Cedar.

 .PERSONALITY.

• Quick tempered and combative when provoked.
• Determined to the point of being sometimes self-destructive about it.
• Extremely loyal to the people he considers close to him.
• Generally polite and gentlemanly. The kind of person that will offer to carry your things.
• Eager to please. Becomes frustrated with himself when he fails to do something someone’s asked of him.
• Stubborn. Once he’s got something in his head it’s hard to get him to change his mind about anything.
• Somewhat entitled. He thinks he’s obligated to someone’s time if he wants it. Is confused when he isn’t just provided with things that he wants or needs.
• Superiority complex due to his mindset toward his very diligent and difficult training.
• A big dreamer. Doesn’t really get hung up on the details when it comes to striving toward his goals.
• Asks a lot of questions. Wants to understand everything around him and is very attentive when someone explains.
• Agile and athletic, especially in swordplay. Through hard work he’s become unshakable, and he often keeps going even after his body decides it's time to stop.
• Very gentle and kind when the situation calls for it.

 .NOTES.

• He is intersex! XXY Klinefelter's Syndrome.
• Voice claim is Chongyun from Genshin Impact. He typically speaks very formally but slips into an american southern accent (kind of a meta joke about his Japanese place of origin, Kansai) when he's overly upset or delirious.
• He's vegetarian... mostly. He'll drink animal broth and such but finds meat unappetizing.
• Most proficient with roller, specifically the dynamo, but has practiced every ink battle weapon at least somewhat. Besides rollers he likes brushes and sloshers.
• Trains using all kinds of bladed weapons. His favorites are katana, kama, and tessen.
• Him and his sister come from a pre-Great Turf War clan of metalworkers and weaponsmiths. Yarrow doesn't possess any of his clan's handed down skills outside of weapon maintenance and basic blacksmithing skills but his sister is a master blacksmith and makes both bladed and ink weapons.
• He has a grumpy pet axolotl named Saichi. Saichi was introduced to him by Viero, who was reminded of the axolotl when meeting Yarrow. Clover specifically encouraged Yarrow to keep a pet, thinking that it would help him settle in on the surface.
• The X-shaped scar on forehead is a traditional ‘traitors mark’ of his own doing.
• If you're familiar with Rock Lee or Izuku (Deku) Midoriya then you probably get what this kid is about.
