  • They never grew up with stricts gender roles, and by the time anyone would even think to ask Xya, they had already found both to not be right for them. The closest conversation in regards to that would probably be Rowan going "Could you fetch me the--- what was the name again?--- Ah yes, 'The Collected works of Craren and the medicinal uses of Creeping Phlox'? Aisle 5, row... You'll find it, I'm sure!". Which is to say, it was never important to their guardian's research, so why bother bringing something unimportant up. Rowan didn't need no gender role to do research, why would Xya need any?

Shapeshifting

Xya is able to change their appearance and voice, down to coloration, hair length, gender, height and weight. However, to change into a specific person, they must have seen that person at least once. Clothing and equipment doesn't change.

Magic

Through their pact with their patron, a solar of the goddess Mystra, they're able to perform magic. Most of the spells have a healing nature, though Xya is also able to deal damage to enemies.

Researcher

By growing up with knowledge all around them, Xya has a knack for finding out how to find information. Though their recollection of the specific content of books might not be up to par, they do know, through their travelling as a child, where to find the knowledge they are searching for.

• They have a magical/cursed pouch that can convert a copper piece into three pebbles. Seeing as copper pieces are basically useless, and they really enjoy using the cantrip Magic Stone, they keep the bag decently filled and ready for battle (both as ammo for themselves, but also to give those they save a chance to assist them in taking down monsters/their foes).
• Most of the damage Xya has taken, has been friendly fire (or rather, friendly cold/ice damage).
