Clarity is an angel on a mission! And that mission is first and foremost to create good relations between Heaven and the realm of Mahou Wando! Isn’t that lovely? There might be more to it, but that’s between him and the heavenly high court back home, and it’s certainly not something any mortals need to concern themselves with! No sir!
Since his stay in Mahou Wando is supposed to be indefinite for now, Clarity has taken up residence in Cloudsville, and he’s quite popular there! His home is always tidy, and in pristine condition, (cleanliness is next to godliness, after all!), and it usually smells ever so delightfully of baked goods! He rarely eats any himself, but he happily shares them with the neighbours! What a great guy! Always smiling, always polite! What’s not to like?
He’s also bright! Quick-witted, quick-thinking, quick-acting and with an excellent memory and great people skills, it’s no wonder he was chosen specifically to function as Heaven’s ambassador! Does this angel have any flaws at all?

"No matter!"
With his winning smile, cheery attitude and outgoing nature, Clarity Endeavour comes across as a great guy and an excellent neighbour. He's only happy to lend a helping hand, bring home-baked goods to the garden parties or arrange fun activities for his local community. He just can't help himself, really! He's always doing something, with idleness almost seeming to make him a bit uncomfortable. That's not bad, though! It simply ensures that he gets an incredible amount of work done, in a very efficient and timely manner!
What sort of work does he do, you might ask? Well, it's all very official ambassador work! Attending meetings with Mahou Wando officials, networking with influential people, and just generally making sure Heaven has a positive reputation! There's... Also something else. An angel child has been enrolled in Agatha Academy as an exchange student of sorts, in an effort to further strengthen relations between the two realms. And Clarity is in charge of them. He doesn't talk much about this part of his job. He sees it as glorified babysitting...
ANYWAY! That would be the most important things about him! Practically perfect, very important and super nice! That's all there is! You might've heard other things about him, but I wouldn't trust any of that nonsense! He's just such a nice person, after all! Anyone saying otherwise is probably just jealous...

If you have a soul, Clarity can grab hold of it, keeping your body in place. He's mastered it to a point where even if you don't have a soul, if you had one at some point, he can grab hold of the fragments left behind instead, with the same effect.

Strength:
No, this is not him falling down or something. It's the ability to have others fall. Specifically to cause the transformations that come with falling. Extra eyes, darkened wings, broken halos, horns... He has not really mastered this yet, and mostly just uses it as a threat.

Acting skills:
This angel has the patience of a saint! Or at least he appears to. In reality, it doesn't take that much to annoy him, but nobody needs to know that! Over the years he's gotten decent at acting like he's always above it all. At least until he can get away and throw something against a wall in the privacy of his own home.
Story
Origin
Clarity was always meant for greatness. As the only feather-born child of the High Prosecutor, he was the only one in line to one day take his mother's place... And that seemingly did not suit her very well. So shortly after he was made, his mother had another son, named Resolve. As a child, none of this really bothered Clarity. He was too young to understand the implications of it all and was simply content with his role as an older brother, and heir-to-be. But as he grew older, he began to understand. Why would his mother break tradition and have another child, if she hadn't hoped for said child to take her place instead of Clarity? Luckily for him, his little brother was an idiot, and he wasn't. He wasn't in danger of not getting picked to eventually become High Prosecutor. But he still grew resentful of both Resolve and his mother.
Perfection
He learned to hide this resentment after his younger brother was cast out of Heaven. To most of the angels in Heaven, his banishment was a harsh, but not unfair punishment for Resolve's laziness. To Clarity, it was a message. That his mother would not be kind just because they were related. That she would not give up her position willingly. That failures would not be tolerated. He had to be what she wanted if he was ever going to get anywhere. So that's what he became. A cut-throat prosecutor, a model citizen, an obedient worker. If the only option was to play the long game, he was going to play that, and he was going to play it to perfection.
A new task
Cut to adult Clarity! He's the best there is at his job. He SHOULD be High Prosecutor. And yet... Mother still refuses. In fact, he currently feels like he's further away from his goal than ever, having been put on what's essentially babysitting duty with paperwork and mandatory meetings with boring officials who have nothing interesting to say. The only upside is that he gets to interact with far more interesting people than Heaven has ever had, and he gets to experience things away from the High Court's prying eyes. So that's at least something.

Ah yes! His little brother! The poor sinner cast from Heaven. Such a shame. Not that he really minded all that much. Resolve was terribly unfocused and troublesome. It was all for the best.

There was a time Clarity admired her and wanted to impress her. These days, however, he finds her lacking. Inefficient. In his eyes, she has outgrown her usefulness and is too old-fashioned to continue. And she knows that he thinks that. This has naturally created some... Strain on their relationship. No matter. She can't stay on her post forever. And when she goes, Clarity will be there :^)

His... Second in command, of sorts? Lackey? Minion? No matter! Noblesse is a fallen, working towards redemption by doing community service. And that involves helping Clarity with ambassador duties. Or whatever else he needs. Clarity finds him quite useful! And very entertaining to command.

A friendly face amidst the clouds of Cloudsville! Clarity thinks highly of Luo, whom he sees as a very honest and hard-working person. Something he can respect! Considering him smart yet down-to-earth, Clarity enjoys their chats. They're nice and stimulating, while not being games of 4D chess. Like a nice coffee break for the brain!

Neighbour (Derogatory)
When Clarity met Karen he found her infuriating. And he still does! But he's also figured out that she's hiding something. She's a devil in disguise! Nobody seems to realise that, though, so Clarity has made it his mission to try and expose her while trying not to lose face in the progress. A difficult task, when she is honestly a lot smarter than she looks, (and everyone else is a lot dumber than they look).

Cygni is the child Clarity has been tasked with keeping an eye on, while she goes to school in Mahou Wando. He's met worse children, but that doesn't mean he likes the idea of having been made a babysitter when he doesn't even like kids in the first place. She's mostly fine when she's not causing any trouble.
