Profile

In the city of Sparta, peculiar characters live in an uneasy peace. Humans and animal-hybrids co-exist together in this world of theirs, however, in Sparta, there always seems to be something destructive going on. Whether it be unexplainable explosions, or mysterious murders, Sparta is a town that is rife with crime that is seemingly without origin or purpose. But still, despite this chaos that runs rampant throughout the town, there are people who wish to do good. Masked heroes, super-groups, good samaritans, all of these people together work to clean up the streets, and make Sparta a safe (or at least, tolerable) place to call home.

Not matter what people call themselves, you must remain vigilant. A hero can be a villain, a villain can prove themselves heroic; not everything is as it seems in this strange town. No, sometimes the people you should be scared of are the people you're taught to trust. Anything is possible, and by the time you find out the truth, you might not even be there. Emily Plindman is a police officer whose bent on protecting the people of the city...but what does she do at night...? Who is she when no one is looking?

Physical Description:

Amelia is a short woman with a stocky, curved build. She has cute freckles that dot her cheeks. She is a red fox, and her long hair is tied up in a ponytail for "work".

Her red hair goes down just past her shoulder blades when undone. Her eyes are a pinkish purple color, and they seem much more lively when she's working at the police station...rather than...

During the day, Amelia Averescu is "Emily Plindman," an excitable and easily bored officer with a sassy mouth. However, at night, and only in the presence of a certain redhead, "Emily" shows her true colors. Amelia is a spy for a toxic and malignant organization, bent on bending the entire world to its will. In their service since she was thirteen years old, Amelia has spent eights years in their care, brainwashed and trained to be the perfect spy. She serves as an assistant to her partner, and is under deep cover in the Sparta Police Department to assist her own organization in covering up their crimes.

Amelia was born and raised in a country where snowstorms were a year-round reality. Due to this, she is rarely cold, and is well adjusted to frigid temperatures. She knows how to survive in blizzard conditions as well.

Personality:

Amelia or Emily, who is the better personality? Who is the one people want to befriend, who those want to know and invite to parties? Who is the one people are supposed to know, and then promptly forget as they grow old? In order to do her job, Amelia has to make Emily takes her place in existence. As a spy for the organization that saved her, Amelia must make good on their visions as dismantle the system in her way.

As Emily Plindman, she is an excitable (yet easily bored) rookie police officer who is tired with wasting her days behind a desk doing paperwork. She has a very strong obsessive personality that changes by the month, and isn't one who takes orders easily. She's got a sassy mouth and a penchant for gossip; she eats up trashy tabloids like sweet candy, and is altogether harmless.

But as Amelia Averescu, she reveals her true, jaded nature. A hardened tool of the organization that salvaged her from near-death, Amelia holds a strong loyalty to her cause, and earnestly believes in their visions. She is serious, sarcastic, caustic with those she dislikes and incessantly stubborn. She's a hard nut to crack, and is trained to be calm under pressure. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be any good at her job.

Her stubbornness can work against her in both personas, and her loyalty isn't as strong as she wants it to be. Amelia can be whittled down to a breaking point if placed under enough duress, and when she feels as if she's failed, she falls apart. She doesn't have any vision of the future, and doesn't think she has any other choice in life than the path she's on now.

For the first time since she was thirteen, Amelia is having doubts. Since joining the police department, Amelia has been experiencing something she hasn't had the ability to understand before--friendship. Faced with genuine compassion and understanding from her co-workers, Amelia is becoming more and more disgruntled with the fact that she'll have to kill all of her new friends when the takeover is complete. Deep in her gut, she's searching for excuses...but she doesn't know what else to do.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

Amelia is a trained spy, well versed in the art of killing and espionage. While she's better at the latter, she knows how to fight back, and is a really good shot when put to the task. Amelia has above average survival skills, especially in cold climates, and she's quite good at staying undetected for long periods of time. She keeps undercover and is capable of shoving aside her true self for the purpose of deceit.

While as Emily, she's relatively talkative and doesn't know when to shut up, she's pretty quiet as Amelia. Quiet to the point where she doesn't communicate often whats happening to her, as she thinks she can handle it herself. Amelia also isn't as brainwashed as people may think..in fact, right now, while undercover...she's having second thoughts...

 Bonus Facts:

- As "Emily," she has an obsession with a certain detective who has recently come into town. As Amelia, she can't stand him. She takes pride in the fact her partner has blackmailed him...

- Amelia and her work partner are very well acquainted with one another. Very well acquainted....intimately so.

- Amelia does not have origins as a Sonic the Hedgehog fan-character. She is inspired by a comic book character whose design I liked as a teen.
