River is a quiet and relaxed young cat who ran away from their home and is currently living with Sparrow. they're calm, and very focused on the present not worrying about the future or dwelling on the past. this also can make them  impulsive.They don't like to talk much about where they came from and they mostly tend to keep to themselves, although they're a bit more open with Sparrow, so they can be seen as boring since usually traveling cats will have a lot of stories to share with others. They place a lot of value on authenticy having the freedom to be themselves, and although they are kind and care about others at the end of the day its more important for them to do what they want and what they think is right than to please others. They're highly observant and a quick learner, especially with physical activities.

What does the character like: 

sparrow: river's first real friend, the two of them become close pretty quickly and easily and River warms up and opens up to Sparrow more than anyone else. They have a lot of similarities and admire the other's differences. 

Fishing: they've never done it before coming to live with Sparrow, but they pick up on it quickly and find it really fun, plus they get a tasty reward!

nature: like Sparrow they appreciate the peacefulness and beauty of it

What does the character dislike: 

conflict and drama: they hate fighting and will avoid any situation where it arises, they're pretty chill and like to be in environments that are as well. They're very rarely angry and generally think its not worth getting worked up over things, and because they don't like being controlled  they don't do it do others and are fine with differences of opinion. 

Feeling overwhelmed or pressured: ok yes nobody likes that but it's a big thing for them, they're just out here trying to vibe

Their old home: there was a lot of the last two there. Although once River leaves, it doesn't haunt them or anything
