Noshi's Literatures

Aluran ran a hand down his tired face. He'd been trying to calm his son down for what felt like hours now; his husband went to bed ages ago and they should have went with him, but Noshi was having none of it. The boy's biological father, Egalan, hadn't been around for months, and the result was a crying child who missed his papa.

The first thing he heard as he slowly hefted his large frame up the stairs to the bedroom was the sound of laughter, sweet and gentle and tinged with only the slightest wisps of sadness this time around. Things were getting better. Aluran… maybe, finally, was healing.
