Ponzu Bourré

Personality:

Brash and vain are just a few choice words to describe Ponzu. His crude, but honest way of speaking makes him a frustratingly reliable person, and his curt language shuts down anyone who tries to lay some pity party on him for who is. Despite the sass he lays on people, he takes things very seriously when dire, and is actually very professionally spoken when working his day job. While he claims that he makes a lot of money, he always seems to run a dime or so short of what he needs in a pinch.... 

Background:

When the first Chasm happened, Ponzu was on his everyday commute to work. He took no mind to it at the time, but when news came that someone had ventured down and found treasure, he knew that he needed to do the same and gather the extra funds. Going there, he learns that in order to do that, he and the others would have to battle monsters -- slimes in particular -- using the watches that the leader, Lety, provided to gift them with the power of Personae. 

Eventually, as they went deeper and deeper into the Chasms, and paved a path to the bottom, Lety gathered the team together for one final task: to go down to the bottom, and press the button to the device she gave to Ponzu. There, they encountered a slime that, unlike the others, was able to be befriended thanks to Ponzu's friend, Mikaela -- however, this happy end would be ruined when the button was pressed, and the chasms begun to shake once more. 

As it turns out, Lety had tricked not only him, but the rest of the crew. Knowing this now. Ponzu gathers them to head up the sudden tower that had appeared at the center of the town. Each group made it to the top, and, after attempting to sway Lety (as requested by Chimere), the group assists in felling Lety, stopping the slime from taking over the surface completely.

Post Chasms campaign (and thus, the start of Labyrinths), Ponzu currently uses his free time to farm rare loot scout the Labyrinths using his Navigator Persona, keeping an eye out for newbies and requesting help whenever non-persona users take an unlucky turn in the endless maze of caverns. He also checks in on Mikaela and her new slime companion often; part in due of being close friends, part in due of gathering intel about the labyrinths from a slime's perspective, and the rest....listen, that slime's really good at pulling ★5 focus characters for him!

Other Info:

• Ponzu is a really, really, really big fan of gacha games, in particular, those akin to the likes of Granblue. As such, he values teamwork a lot, even if he has a blunt and curt way of showing it, and always wants to find a way to win, even if by unconventional means. 
• Due to the lack of pigment in his skin, hair, etc, he burns easily in sunlight, and dislikes the beach. 
• While his vision in and of itself is fine, he's extremely sensitive to bright light. His glasses can shift to sunglasses in sunlight to combat this. 
• He commissions small business creators to sew him blankets, which he brings around for comfort (especially during colder months) 
• Ponzu likes alcohol, but never drinks to an unhealthy amount. High tolerance. 
• It's unknown how he cooks/bakes. (Chef guy should teach him a thing or two)
