Sullivan (Labyrinths)

Sullivan grew up under a family of wealthy investors, with their parents eager for him to walk into his footsteps. With goals to set their business overseas, Sullivan moves to Fukuoka at a relatively young age; despite that, he's able to adapt well, and excels in his studies.

However, after an accident causes him to lose not only both of his legs, but an eye as well, the pressure of trying to complete college and adjust to his new prosthetics are too much for him to handle. He drops out, and the action is enough to anger his father -- leaving the two in a strained relationship not just for Sullivan, but for his mother as well, for years to come.

Still, his mother supports his recovery from the sidelines, to the extent that she eventually divorces and, with just her son to focus on, encourages him on a new path. With time, Sullivan finds footing again and, through baking in the kitchen, realizes the direction that he wishes to go in -- to create a space where people from all walks of life can visit and relax. 

By the time he reaches his early 40's, he has a small cafe to his name and co-runs it with his spouse, Aislind. However, to say that his adventure up to now didn't encounter any supernatural bumps along the way would be a misnomer -- in truth, many years ago, his life would had been forfeit, were it not for Aislind's timely arrival to save them from the demons who sought for him. 

Other Info:

• Occasionally, Sullivan plays online MMOs and VR games, and favor those with a medieval fantasy setting. When playing in settings like that, he goes by the online handle 'evergreen_sonata', and plays a character not unlike the Fire Emblem equivalent of him.
• He does in fact have a persona! Marbas is a Navigator persona, who can cause and heal diseases, as well as change the shape of other creatures. It is Marbas who, to an extent, saves Sullivan through coexisting with him -- but being weak in power, it's Aislind who is truly able to stop Sullivan from getting his identity stripped by demons.
• Ivory is a frequent customer to the cafe that Sully runs. Naturally, with Sullivan having a persona, and Aislind being a Seraph, it ends up being rather hilarious in hindsight how much they've overheard about the Amnesia Incidents through Ivory's prattling. Post-game, when the threat of anyone finding out about Sullivan owning a persona gone, the both of them are more open about their abilities to Ivory, even if to be able to talk with them more freely.
