While he loves playing video games, this is not the only form of “play” that Ezekiel enjoys. He is extremely playful in general and loves having a good time. Ezekiel wrestles and roughhouses with Haru all the time when his brother isn’t busy being the responsible adult(and sometimes when he’s busy anyway).

Ezekiel is very loyal, steadfast and dedicated. Whether to another or to just an idea or cause, once he’s set his mind on it, he will remain true. Prove you are honest and of good character and Ezekiel will defend you until the end of time.

Because of the way his mind works, Ezekiel is usually placed in the supporting role when competing on a team. He figures out how the game is set up and how to beat the levels and/or the strategy the other team is using. He doesn’t do too well in the thick of a battle.

Ezekiel can get quite focused, especially when gaming. Often, Haru will have to physically block the screen to get his attention. Ezekiel gets rather worked up, especially in multiplayer games, and this can lead to what Haru has dubbed as "sugar swearing", where the young Bean will essentially cuss at the game or other players under his breath, but with totally family-friendly words. His favorite "swear" is in fact "sugar".

Ezekiel is a very open and giving young Bean. He frequently donates extra winnings to various charities, after he vets their causes and morals.

Ezekiel is impressively smart. While this contributes well to his gaming hobby, it makes school rather boring. He needs regular mental stimulation to keep his attention, or he will tune the world out and run through gaming simulations or fond memories of his family. He often knew which classes would never succeed in even getting his attention in the first place, namely English and History; those were the ones he regularly ditched. Math was his favorite, he likes numbers.

Though rather gifted, Ezekiel isn't the type to flaunt his talents. He accepts praise when he does something he views as "above and beyond", but normally he'll just brush it off or give equal credit to others involved. He never seeks the limelight and actually prefers to stay anonymous when possible.

While Haru's responsible streak can really get under Zeke's skin, he loves his brother dearly and is immensely grateful that the older Bean formerly adopted him when his parents were killed. Moving to Japan and having to learn a whole new language and culture was a challenge, but Zeke has never been one to back down!
