Raymond Chevailér (Chapelle)

Chapelle Chevailér is a walking, talking lie. Raymond is too attracted to fame, he's always hungered for people to know his name, and the lure of being on the big screen was far too strong. Not to mention his mother was a struggling actress, and he always felt so compelled to fufill her dreams and bring it perfectly full circle. That's why he worked through Drake and their friend's mother, Audrey Gabhart, who's a well known actress from one of the first ever talkies. They got him with the right manager and the right teachers, starting as an expensive model, and climbing his way up to the silver screen. Soon, Chapelle was a well known actor. With enough money and knowing the right people, he found working your way up to casting lists was almost too easy. He was extra popular among the women; a heartthrob for those who didn't know him, and a good friend for those who do. He typically plays either prince charming type love interests, or devious villans. He is most well known for his depiction of 'Moriarty' in a telling of Sherlock Holmes, though he plays in more sappy romcoms these days.

Chapelle basks in his fame, and leaves his life as Raymond to go to his beach house in Los Angeles to shoot for the latest film. The public knows very little about him outside of his charm they see glimpses of in interviews, but what is widely known is his connection to chief of police, Drake Chevailér. The two are brother-in-laws, or that's part of the story. As far as the public knows, Drake met Kitty Chevailér, Chapelle's sister, in france. ever since the two men had become good friends, through their marriage and now having children. The irony is that Chapelle and Kitty are the same person, just a wig and a pair of colored contacts away. Kitty being 'Camera shy' helps them hide this, and the family of actors serves as Raymond and Drake's complicated cover story, all to explain why Drake was sometimes seen through cafe windows talking to a tiny blonde in satin gloves.
