After heartbreak and betrayal fell on them in Kalos, their family decided to move to Galar. Their father could continue his work learning about pokemon and Rozin would have a new chance at life. Though around Leon's age and living not far from his family, Rozin never got to know him well since he was already champion at that time. However when he was around they would talk, and they essentially were Hop's babysitter. Still kinda is...
Despite both Leon and Hop working hard to get them into the gym challenge, they don't complete it. However, Raihan takes notice of their skills and takes them into the Dragon Gym to train under him.
Character
Rozen is a pretty sassy person, especially to their friends. They don't take any bs from them and will call them out when they are being dumb. However, they really do care about people and want to make others happy and help them succeed. They've just experienced enough sadness to have lost the gleaming hope they once had as a kid.
