Tomato kun

VERY Tsun person and seems to have a tendency to close himself off. After softening up, you'll find that he's actually just a hyper and genki boy who wants to make the best out of his life.

Used to study in Fruits academy, but transferred to Vegetable Academy for personal reasons.
Is actually best at science subjects and horrid at arts - but when put in the correct environment, is actually a very bright student. Dating/dated Beet-sensei.

 BACKGROUND

Toma’s parents run a sub company of Heinz, and it takes up too much of their time so they sent Toma to distant relatives to take care of him on a rotational basis. After Toma grew up to the age where he can take care of himself, his parents started to send him spending money instead of asking relatives for help. Toma now lives in a flat, on his own.

Growing up, Toma felt that nobody truly cares for him and learnt that he himself is the only person that he could depend on. So, when he met Beet, who gave him a lot of attention, he was glad that someone actually genuinely concerned for him. He let Beet into his life, but soon enough, Beet left his heart and life in shatters ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Toma used to be in fruit academy and had Beet as sensei + lover. Due to them being discovered by the school, Beet had to leave the school and was forbidden to have any contact with Toma - otherwise, Fruit academy will spread the scandal across the education community and Beet’s reputation will be too tainted to teach again. Beet found a new job at Vegetable academy. Toma, in denial that his lover quit his job and have completely ignored his messages, sought out Beet’s new workplace and transferred into Beet’s new school, trying to get his lover to notice him again.

After a bit of stalking, he finds out about Beet’s “playboy” behavior and the fact that he’s been hitting on pretty much all the students. He feels hurt and in denial that the Beet he knew is like the Beet he sees before his eyes. Nevertheless, Beet is still someone that he still likes a lot so despite treating Beet with an angry and disrespectful front, he respects Beet and doesn’t want to do anything that would actually hurt or disturb Beet too much.

Toma is fundamentally a good kid, but only started to act bad so his parents would put more attention onto him. Instead, Beet gave him attention, but he keeps his “bad kid” demeanor in the fear that if he turned back into a good student, Beet would stop paying attention to him.
